Mad Max

Fun, especially if you like cars in the monster truck and demo derby kinda way. The quests are also fun .The atmosphere is Amazing But alot of the activity you need to do to unlock and gather scrap for upgrades is kinda repetitive and boils down to Blow this up, Kill these dudes, Kill this one dude, and Disarm the landmines. Overall 4/5

This game captures very well the Mad Max world atmosphere. For an open world game the vast deserts can feel a little bit barren and underpopulated but it fits the setting. The vehicle and on foot fighting are well balanced and both satisfying. Upgrading and driving your car feels great; I just unlocked the V8 engine and the sound conveys a great sense of power. The dust storms and the lightning storms are incredible. If you walk and especially if you drive through them you feel completely absorbed, astonished, endangered, immersed. I've hardly seen more beautiful looks in an unscripted and non cinematic event in a videogame. The story is not incredibly engaging or intriguing but still followable. It's definitely worth buying and playing even after so many years after publishing.

Good gameMad Max throws you into a sunburnt apocalypse where your car is your best friend and murder is just part of the commute. It’s gritty, explosive, and stupidly fun—like GTA had a baby with a flamethrower.

Mad Max is a fun romp in a post-apocalyptic world. Yes it has all the tropes of an open-world game, but most importantly it is extremely enjoyable. Don't rush, take your time, play it at your leasure and have fun and any tedium will be avoided. Lastly on the topic of being a Mad Max experience I can whole-heartedly say is it ever, the world, the characters and the cars are spot on.
