“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the Beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
- Revelation 13:18
When little Lucius was born on the devilishly significant date of June 6th, 1966, no one expected him to be anything other than a normal little boy. His childhood, spent in a luxurious manor, was as normal as every kid’s childhood years - well, except for the extreme wealth of his parents, as Lucius grew up with everything he desired and more. Everything went to Hell, in a manner of speaking, when Lucius turned 6. The Devil, who is his real father, manifests himself in his dreams the night before his birthday revealing to Lucius his true heritage. It’s up to Lucius to bring Hell on Earth using any and all means necessary.
Orchestrate deadly accidents, using items, tools, and hell’s powers such as telekinesis and mind control. By combining classic adventure gameplay with the freedom and openness of a 3D world, you’ll have to use your wits and ensure no one knows of your fiendish mission until it’s too late!
Homage to the classics of the horror movie genre, including “The Omen”, “The Shining”, and “The Exorcist”.
A breathtaking atmosphere overflowing with stunning and captivating visuals!
A wide, open 3D world for you to explore and manipulate with your wicked powers!

This game has potential (I'm not a satanist, but not a religious person either). I hope if they make a sequel, it'll be more polished and less buggy. I think it's interesting to explore the future events after this game (Lucius as adult, or teenager). As a side note, I don't know what they're thinking with those Extras, they're so ridiculous (not in a bad way, but not in a good way either).
This is a terrible game. The basic premise of murdering people and sending their souls to Satan isn't bad (if ripped off from The Omen), but the games completely falls apart when it comes to execution.
There is no proper save function. The game has autosaves only (and doesn't tell you when it makes one), so when you end the game in the middle of a chapter, all progress is gone. If you get caught, all progress is gone and you are forced to sit through cut scenes and loading screens again. This is mainly done to artificially lengthen the short time you will need to complete the game (about an afternoon).
The controls are terrible. You character gets in the way of the items you want to grab most of the time. The mouse sensitivity is too high (even on the lowest setting), sending the camera spinning and making using items a chore. Your character is controlled by with WASD controls yet the item menu uses arrow keys. Whenever you select a power, you can do basic interactions. Altogether, the game uses no less than sixteen keys, mouse buttons not included, which is just ridiculous.
In case you still consider buying Lucius, be aware that it also has stiff and cheap looking characters (especially when they are holding an item), mediocre dialogue, subtitles that can't be turned off, glitches that caused me to get stuck in a wall (forcing me to restart the entire chapter!), broken stealth mechanics, boss fights in a game clearly not made for them plus boring fetch quests.
On paper it sounds great, and you would think that you'll have to find a way to assassinate people yourself, but the whole time the game takes your hand through what is basically a decorated corridor. There is only one scripted way to kill every target.
Could have been MUCH MUCH more.
I heard this game was bad, but would have been good if a couple of things had been added. It is too restrictive for me. This is basically a puzzle game to me.
