Description
“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the Beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” - Revelation 13:18

When little Lucius was born on the devilishly significant date of June 6th, 1966, no one expected him to be anything other than a normal little boy. His childhood, spent in a luxurious manor, was as normal as every kid’s childhood years - well, except for the extreme wealth of his parents, as Lucius grew up with everything he desired and more. Everything went to Hell, in a manner of speaking, when Lucius turned 6. The Devil, who is his real father, manifests himself in his dreams the night before his birthday revealing to Lucius his true heritage. It’s up to Lucius to bring Hell on Earth using any and all means necessary.

Orchestrate deadly accidents, using items, tools, and hell’s powers such as telekinesis and mind control. By combining classic adventure gameplay with the freedom and openness of a 3D world, you’ll have to use your wits and ensure no one knows of your fiendish mission until it’s too late!
  • Homage to the classics of the horror movie genre, including “The Omen”, “The Shining”, and “The Exorcist”.
  • A breathtaking atmosphere overflowing with stunning and captivating visuals!
  • A wide, open 3D world for you to explore and manipulate with your wicked powers!

Frustrating or hilarious, but unique

Good: Unique setting where you play as the son of the devil. Due to this setting, some characters, situations and events in the game are very cool. Some puzzles are difficult and satisfying to solve. There are 2 endings, even if they don't differ much. Bad: Some puzzles are very unintuitive and I personally felt unable to find any logic even after looking up the solution. There are plenty of bugs, sometimes you will get stuck and unable to move. You can't save the game, the game only autosaves at every chapter. Due to being unable to save the game, if you "die"/get caught near the end of the chapter, you have to redo it all again. I personally enjoyed this game a lot, even if it has a fair share of problems. I got stuck plenty of times, was unable to move and had to reset. I had to look up almost HALF of the puzzles, mostly because I am bad at solving them, but some of them really lacked any logic. Being unable to save made thee bugs and puzzles even more annoying, since every time I had to replay the entire chapter again. But once again, the unique setting of the game made me enjoy it overall. Promising concept

The game starts off really promising but ends up being a letdown. It's almost as if the game carries you all the way and you never seem to get stuck for very long, unless you have to get something from the other end of the house. The story opens up with a great plot, the spawn of evil put in a house of power, but ends up flushing it all down the toilet and becomes all about killing random people for God knows what reason. I hated Lucius from the get-go, but that was mostly due to his incredibly nonplussed expression that seems to be stuck on his face. His powers did make me warm up to him though. You do get some interesting kills and the idea is brilliant, it's just a shame that it seems unfinished and the ending like something that had to be rushed in order to meet a deadline. Please give us a sequel with a more free gameplay and a story that makes sense!

Meh

I was pretty excited to play this game after watching a let's play episode. It seemed to be an interesting unique game. What I got was alright - not terrible and not great. There appears to only be one way to kill the targets which the game gives you pretty obvious clues. I thought there would be more ways to complete your mission. I did sort of enjoy exploring and opening draws but this did not add anything to the game. I never found anything interesting like audio diary tapes from your parents. Think I'm about half way through but don't plan on finishing it. There are much better games that are on my "to play" list. On a side note, this game gave me terrible headaches even on short play through of an hour.

The criticisms are unfounded.

I didn't buy this for a while because many reviews spoke of mainly 2 reasons that made the game frustrating: 1) A lack of autosave means you have to do the WHOLE level again if you get caught. 2) It isn't clear what you have to do, and you spend forever wandering around trying to find or use the right item. What they don't mention is 1) a level lasts 2 minutes when you figure what to do and, bar 1-and-a-third levels, you can move freely around your mansion. 2) You're given many clues, but there's always Google for when you derp. I HATE doing the same thing over again, even just backtracking, but I had no problems here. Another common complaint is the linearity, but the way you have to kill them is often the logical choice. You're supposed to cover up your kills, so the game just letting you shoot everyone would bore as well as defeat the point. It falls down at the final part/ending, it's a bit awkward, but overall it's a fun, quick game. While some things aren't amazing (voice acting, cutscene animation, music use), it should be noted that this unique game came from an independent developer from Finland, so I give them leeway, it's all still fine. Best of all, they actually care about their players. I'm reviewing their final, polished version. When there were noises that the finale was disappointing, they made a thread on Steam and asked for feedback and if people would like an alternate finale, then added one (it's a bit better, but at least they tried). So go, be that creepy mute kid who follows people around on his tricycle down hallways. Otherwise you're missing out.

Mixed Feelings

I was too much of a sissy for this game, XD. I'm one of those people who almost always picks the hero choices in an RPG. Eventually I'll go through and play the villain, but only because I want to see where it goes. This wasn't about who he is, they don't really hide that at all, so it didn't bother me. But I thought this would be more like GTA, like killing meaningless nobodies, but some of these people are pretty innocent, and they sure let you know that before you slaughter them. I don't know, for some reason it felt more like ACTUALLY murdering someone. It's silly, and I'm not saying I'm right, I'm just saying this is how I felt about it. So if you're not the type that really enjoys being the murderous villain, this game might not be for you. If you are? Then I recommend it. It might not be the best looking, or even have the best set up (finding things can be difficult sometimes), but overall it's original, and you might find it very interesting.
