I shot the cute stuff

Weird style decision for a shooter. First time I passed, it looked like a kids game. Then I saw some gameplay and became intrigued. Decided to try myself and got positively surprised. Very few games these days allow you to run and gun. That's all you do in this game. It felt very refreshing to not have to stop and aim down sight, duck, hide or any of that nonsense. Just charge forward and shoot. And it worked perfectly for the first 2 worlds or so. Then things got annoying. Less running and more platforming. Jumping off a platform, shooting a moving target behind you while landing on another platform blindly, and quickly turning around to hit a falling target in front of you. Too much trickery and memorisation. Maybe some people will like those sections too. But for me the first 2 worlds felt refreshing, the rest not so much.

Where Katamari meets Quake

Really interesting run 'n gun game. The art style really meets the expectation created by the title, the music is just perfect to create a charming atmosphere that brightened my mood on the first level. Jumping controls can be a little tricky, though. I fall a lot in this game, and there's a lot of jumping late in the game. Anyway, the simplicity in this game is one of its strongest points.

FUBAR

This is the most fucked up, synical, brutal, deranged game I have ever played in my life. Its got a little cute and charming theme to it, wow its such an innocent game! look how cute it is! This game is a fucking lie. The first 3 worlds are not so bad, they were enjoyable and it really plays into the trial and error where after a few tries you get the hang of it, but those last 2 worlds, not even, the second half of the 4th world and the 5th world entirely was a CIA torture protocol. I replayed almost every single fucking level hundreds of time only to be rewarded with more misery, dread and pain. The ammount of times I had to replay a level just so I can beat it once was inmesuarble. Those fucking boxes taunt and mock you, you can even hear them laugh at you at times while they see you repeatedly start the level over and over and over and over just so you can fail again and again one time after the other. And the cheery fucking music just makes you question your sanity even more every single time you restart. Someone once said Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result. I experienced Insanity playing this. If you 100% this game you have a fucking mental issue, you have to be botherline psychotic to even consider 100% the game. This game is quite literealy almost fucking imposible in some levels. The game expects you to be so fucking perfect in your executions in some levels that there is literally no margine for error. You have to be so fucking quick and responsive and perfect on your timing that if youre even 10 fucking miliseconds off you fail the whole thing and you have to start over. and then when you finish the game, its all cheery and shit and its all like "Thanks for playing my game!" FUCK YOU. FUCK. YOU. This game is a demonic entity in disguise.

Fun for what it is!

This game is adorable and fun. The small platforming segments are a little difficult to navigate, but still fun. I love the visual style. This game also works completely on Mac through CrossOver without a CrossTie, which makes me wonder why there is only a Windows and Linux installer.

Game with a hard on for being hard

The game can be fun and is at its best when it is difficult but fair, where you could reasonably get a perfect run the first time through. But then there are the moments when you're meant to shoot faraway, invisible moving objects, with slowly moving projectiles, without a crosshair and while putting up with how the game doesn't let you jump if you're on a sloped surface, misleading visuals and annoying level design that relies on memory, because things happen too fast for your weapon's shot to reach their targets or register. The game also has a narrow field of view just to make sure you're not comfortable playing it.
