Amazing.

Love the first game, universe, the style, and the story. I like me some top-down action as well, so the mix of all of it makes it so sweet in the best of ways in this sequel. I wish they would bring the first game to GOG, but until then this will certainly do. EDIT: I have about 7 hours into the game at this point and honestly I am really enjoying it. It has the Children of Morta feel where you still unlocked story and improvements as you go even when you don't beat a level. Still keeps the same atmosphere as the first game, for the most part. It's obviously a little more action oriented which I personally enjoy but my gf was upset about (as she LOVED the first game). I love the sound effects and the art style the gameplay feels very snappy and nice. My only complaint if you even want to call it that, is you fight the bosses in the same order and the same bosses every run (could change after you beat the game). But really the item building system is fun, gameplay is fun, sounds are great, atmosphere is great. I would gladly pay full price for this game but if you see it on sale (on release it's 45% off) GRAB IT!

Hades but in a fairytale

I played the original game, and the art style and storytelling, great voice acting and music really made me finish the game, a thing I don't normally do. This has the same charm and "pulling power." Why the Hades comparison? While playing, you get the unfolding story, the characters reveal more lore, and your base grows kind of like in Hades. Not many roguelites achieve this in my opinion. I killed the first boss in probably the 10th try, and now it seems the game has hooked me. Will play to the end for sure.

Pretty good roguelite Hades clone

The Eternal Die is a very nice looking, and very well optimized, isometric roguelite Action-RPG in the same vein as the celebrated Hades. The controls are tight, the atmosphere is great it is tightly designed and there are some very nice post-game variables for extra challenge, which makes for a very addictive game. Why four stars? Well, for one, it is very good but I'd like more. More cards, more abilities, more stages, more bosses, more of everything. And second. Well... it's not the game I'd expect for a sequel to Lost in Random. Personally, I'd prefer another fantastical 3D adventure

roguelite game

game looks good, plays good. I personally don't like roguelite games, didn't expect it to be a roguelite.
