Lost Horizon

About the graphics: beautiful sceneries and atmosphere, but unfortunately the characters looks quite lame (at least their animation is acceptable). The game is very, very easy. Once you've found all the items and hotspots, then just a few clicks to advance. You have only a few items and scenes at the same time, so even with trial and error method is extremly easy and linear. And this is the biggest problem of this game. Remember Day of the tentacle or Monkey Island 2 or Thimbleweed park (and other classics)? Where you can do a lot of things in the same time in different places? Here you always have to focus on only one task and if you solve it you can go to the next puzzle. Most of the time you're limited to only 1-2 places with a couple of items in your inventory and you just have to combine these. After you're done on one scene the game "resets", you have an empty inventory and a few new places. Like a series of minigames. All in all still a great adventure, but without challenges it's like a speedrun.

Good old fashioned adventure. It's how i would describe. It kind of reminds me of Indiana Jones movies. Its has a right setting, its happening before world war 2. Character are memorable. Great voice acting, good story, ending was kind off, well it ended too quickly i think. Visuals are great. It has many puzzles, i'll admit. Few times i was stuck, but when i completed puzzles, it was satisfying, rewarding. And best way to describe puzzles is, i dont know if they were brilliant or stupid, but they wre ridicolus enough that it was great and funny. And now to part 2 (Lost horizon 2)

Well made but easy adventure game. Recommended.

Quite good. Not bad, not spectacular. Quite movie-like.

Charming mix between Indiana Jones, Flight of the Amazon Queen and Broken Sword. While still managing to keep an own style. The story of course is full of clichés, but still good and fleshed out. Good characters, objects, atmosphere, puzzles and lots of fun, quirky but somehow still logic ideas. Didn't expect much, got it on sale and found it to bee surprisingly good. Especially at the second half of the game. Will have a look at the other games of the devs too.
