No David Lester: no dice

David Lester never created this game, so, the mechanics of it are ill-designed: it's a cash cow (bluntly). The ONLY reason why anyone would by this is due to the title... and it's not associated to Lords of the Realm in any way or form. Sierra was long into the hands of Vivendi when this game was released... so, its demise is really what EA is doing. Buy out the small [good] companies, and push them to release titles that simply gain money off of the titles.

Unclear game play

Really bad navigation of units, enemy seems to bypassing your units all the time and you can't attack if a castle is attacked with other units in order to relief. Time is running always and you get constantly attacked from all sides, stress game pur.

Run away, run away

To use the old Monty Python line: "Run away, run away!!!" I have played LotR I and II. This is garbage compared to those. Stronghold and Stronghold Crusader are much better castle option.
