Okay, for a while...
The game is just what it is. It gets very obnoxious and repetitive after a (very short) while.

Great gameplay loop
Like with many other great indie games, Loop Hero takes a simply gameplay mechanic, focuses on it and executes it extremely well. I've played the game a lot and keep coming back. The combat is automatic, id that puts you off, take a second look before you buy.

Addicts will get addicted
I dont usuallly play idle games or games like this but gave it a try and 60 hours in and was not and still not dissapointed. its a great game for multi-tasking, easy to play while doing something else. I hope they update the game with more content.

Pet Hero Management Game
In the game, you have an ai character who moves in a loop fighting things, and your job is to make them face as many enemies as possible so long as it's not too many - that way, they will grow as strong as they possibly can and find more resources to support their camp. It's really good

I don't really like rougelikes, but I gave it a try, nonetheless. I like the base idea, where you can't control the hero directly, only the sorrundings, the graphics is nice, too. But I don't really see where is the challange, because you start every "loop" with no equipments/the same basic stats anyway, so the only thing you really lose when you die is 70% of your loot, meaning you just extend your grinding/playtime a bit. Yeah, you can unlock more casts and build some buildings in the camp which gives you interesting upgrades, but it doesn't changes the basic concept of endless grinding with nothing to loose, really.
