Oh so sweet nostalgia.
Great throwback in time, so many memories recollected. Highly recommended!

No audio drama, no purchase!
Seriously... the GAME Loom is just the second half of the story! The first half consists of the audio drama that was included in the original box back in the day (either as a cassette tape or later as an audio CD). I love Loom with all my heart – played it first when I was 13 years old (I'm 35 now). But who wants to buy HALF of a story? Seriously... utterly disappointed by you, GOG.

Loom a short review.
Wow what a trip down memory lane. One of the games few draw backs was that it never got a sequel. Yes the game runs for about 2 to 3 hours depending on how good your ears are. (on the harder settings) but for the price of just over $2.00 australian dollars on discount.... magic.

Loom Is A Hybrid!
Yes, it's mainly a point-and-click adventure, but in its own way it throws in some role-playing elements that are so subtle it surprises you! You see, all spells carried out by your character are done by his staff through musical notes. So as you complete tasks, experiment, sometimes on your own without help from in-game characters, and come up with a combination of notes that create a new spell, notes are added to your staff, sort of like levelling up, gaining better attributes, as in a traditional role-playing game! On the graphic side, the adventure is captivating, almost mesmerizing, when combined with the whole idea behind the game. There is humor, although somewhat macabre. Loom is just downright fun to play! They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I imagine a video to be worth much more. Please check out my 5 minute video... https://youtu.be/xAD4o4F3jLY Thanks for taking the time to read this review, and hope you checked out the video!
