Originally released in 1997 as Little Big Adventure 2 or Twinsen's Odyssey, Twinsen’s Little Big Adventure 2 Classic is a memorable action-adventure game that stole many players’ hearts with its charm, quirkyness and humour.
After saving the planet, Twinsen and Zoé live a happy and peaceful life on Citadel Island when new trouble arises. Aliens from the planet Zeelich land on Twinsun and strange things start to happen. Who are these Esmers? Are they friends or foes? Twinsen needs to put on his Ancestral Tunic once again and investigate. With the help of his friend Jeróme Baldino and fiancée Zoé, he needs to become a wizard, level up his magic, fly into space and uncover ancient mysteries that threaten both Twinsun and Zeelich!

The gameplay is similar to LBA1 ("Relentless"), and the story is interesting and engaging.
In my view though, this game hasn't aged as gracefully as the first game. The jumping of camera angles is unnecessarily disorientating. Twinsen's voice acting and script make the game feel a bit childish - particularly in the early stages. And the game is a bit demeaning of women (not extremely so. It's just a bit socially out of date.)
This game is a solid adventure game. It's worth playing. But I don't think it's a classic like the original is.
This is not the best adventure I've ever played, but it is surely in the top 5. And when you get beaten only by The Longest Journey, Syberia and Grim Fandango, you can be proud of it.
LBA2 offered me countless hours of crazy, eye-candy, old-time fun. Not a title to miss.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
