Lifeless Planet Premier Edition

I didn't expect much of this game, but it is really fun. You really get the vibe of being trapped on a deserted planet and you are alone to survive. The music is great and the gameplay is just fine. Don't expect action or something like that. Patience is also recommended in the game. The story is just well enough to get you going and the atmosphere is great.

This adventure game has one of the most interesting mystery stories ever and its presentation is simply a huge achievement in minimalism. The voice acting is superb and immersive (including top notch original Russian dubbing), the graphics is charming, the style is beautiful, the platforming is fun and the mystery is so good you want to know more and more about the planet and what happened there. The game looks like it was made in late 90's and if it really had been made at that time it would surely have been be a huge hit and a classic. Now, 10 years later after its release to me it is a classic. A really memorable piece of art obviously made with love. The game is not challenging but if you like lineral mysterious stories and fun platforming then get it without a second thought.

Atmospheric , beautiful , sometimes scary classic game. Only one question, why Lifeless Moon (second game in the series) is missing on GOG?

From start to the end game player experience sense of freedom and one puzzle focus. Movement of the astronaut is easy with full 3D view during the movement of after - to see safety ahead, or environment around - which is stunning. Each puzzle is sooner, or later very clear - if gamer pays attention to voice of astronaut, to entrapment situation, girl whos footsteps he is following... In case of extra need of help, YouTube Walkthrough is available, so not big deal. There is only one 1/2 bad point and it is auto-saving of the game. It actually saves only point of beginning of the buzzle solving process (or way to). So, if gamer leaves the game, return is not to the point when he/she was last time, but to beginning of the puzzle which was not finished. Also - for games which have been having option to save several stages of the game there is non of it here. Good news is that it is possible - you have to go to "C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Stage 2 Studios" and copy "lpSave.txt" and save it elsewhere. When you later copy it back game will start on puzzle you have started when "lpSave.txt" was created.. :) not ideal, but it works, I admire creators of the puzzles created as this Game is , 3D environment with realistic objects and surfaced, it is pleasure to even start over and to look around for beauty missed out first, or second time...

I didn't realize when I bought it how much of a platform game this is. I'm really bad at platformers, so I fell down a lot - and believe me, it's a loooooong way down! This game should carry a warning for acrophobics. Anyway, that may account for the fact that I found much more game play and challenge than some folks seem to. Aside from that, I found it to be a rare treat! There are changes I would like to see, and the story might need a little tweaking, but in spite of its flaws it was a magical experience. In spite of my frustration, I was anxious to play it again. For a first effort, it's incredible. To all the reviewers who found it boring and unoriginal, I say, "Tell me the names of any games like it! I want to play them!"
