It's the crime of the century, and only one Manley can solve it In the second game of Accolade’s Les Manley series of adventures, a stalker has been kidnapping celebrities, including Les’s friend Helmut Bean and his extravagant girlfriend LaFonda Turner. Les Manley must scour La La Land – sifting through out-of-work actors, rock stars and gorgeous babes – to unravel the mystery. From Hollywood Boulevard to Mulholland Mansions, take a walk on the wild side.
I think this adventure/point&click is ok.
If you are interested in experiencing early 90s games with 90s references, it's interesting to try. (With a walkthrough, to smoothen the ride)
There's a reason this series only lasted two games and Accolade got out of adventure games. The jokes are lame lacking the wit and sleaze level of Leisure Suit Larry. Only of interest to masochists and old school gamers looking for the sort of game where following leads in the wrong order will completely waste your time.
Uggg.
Who askded for this to be added to GoG?
They deserve a special place in Hell. It (and the first Les Manley game) was an absolutely, gawd-awful game when it was released by Accolade. But, hey, as a youngster, it promised T&A, when it was still a novelty for the pc. "Promised" being the operative word. The company, Ziggurat, seems to be focused on bringing back obscure games, most of which were cash grabs in the beginning years of gaming. They still are cash grabs. If this was less than $1, it would only be worth it to asd to your library as a completionist, not for the game play, T&A, humor or dialogue. I'm just an old gamer, so take my opinion for what it cost you, but run...run far far away.
