Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail!

Fairly decent game. I never played the LSL games back in the day, so I recently got this one on GOG to see what the series was about. I enjoyed it. Good voiceovers and animation. Good jokes (may get stale toward the end). Gameplay/puzzles weren't overly difficult, but I did need to consult some walkthroughs for hints a couple times. I liked the fact that you couldn't "die", or do anything to not allow you to finish (although there are a couple instances where you can miss out on dildo's and EE's), so you are never worried about having to save often (or at all). Worked great on W7 (64) with removing spaces from filepath as recommended (didn't try with spaces). And it doesn't (at least for me) need to be on your C drive as stated, if you have a SSD and 2nd std drive like I do. I put on my 2nd drive. I installed individually, not through the Gog galaxy client.

Hands down my most favorite Larry game. The characters are all hilarious, the voice acting is spot on, and the puzzles are really fun to solve. They even have a really fun 'Where's Dildo' minigame where you search for little dildos dressed like the 1980's icon Waldo. This is one of the few point and click adventure games where I actually click everything because they did such a great job making this game entertaining. Heck, this might even be my favorite game in my entire library right meow. There are even a handful of goofy yet naughty easter eggs to find. If you're a fan of humorous adult games, don't hesitate. Play it! You won't regret it.

This game is amazing! The cartoon style fits so perfect! The game story and puzzles are incredibly fun! Leisure Suit Larry: Love For Sail offers so much in regards to Easter Eggs (Yeah Baby!) and regular game play that you can't help but enjoy yourself! The Easter Eggs will often offer... visual benefits... if you do them correctly!

I would call this the best Leisure Suite game by far! If you're buying a Leuisure Suite Larry game, I assume that you know what you're getting (the cover alone explains that). It is irreverent and doesn't take itself seriously, as expected and hoped for! The animation, humor, music, and voice acting is all very entertaining. The puzzles mostly make sense and are fun to figure out. I come back to this one every so often because of how much I enjoy it.

I didn´t expect to fall so madly for Larry after all this years! This little fella conquered my heart by storm....and left me a little oversexed. I was way too young when the game was released but I guess I now have the age und humor to appreciate this gem of adventure. The story is simple as always: Get the girl (naked). The main puzzle lines are non-linear so you always got something to do somewhere until you come up with a new idea. Artwork and sound are entertaining and sympatic and the humor ist very … unique - but I’m sure you know all about that. The controlling might be a bit overwhelming in the first scene (the whole room is on fire - but hey, no pressure) but as soon as you realize that you can’t die and that the commentator keeps an eye on you and lends you a hand when you are in need…you´re doing fine :) There is a lot of talking but it simply needs to be done to finde a possibility to drop all this crappy funny innuendos and puns. I highly recommend to play the game in English if you dare - you can learn a lot. One word for the critics: Yapp, Larry is crazy for girls and sex but he never treats women disrespectful and his poor attempts to get laid are just a sign of desperation. In the end most of the time the girls have a laugh. [If you are playing LSL anti-chronological I have to add that the humor in Larry 7 ist VERY different from Larry WDDD. The Sextalk is slightly more subtle and therefor funny and also embarrassing (veeeery poor pick-up lines) but never brutal or tasteless, like it´s said to be in LDDD.] (Entschuldigt die schlechte Übersexung).
