Game breaking bugs

I like Lego games they are fun as an adult as well a child. As a lego game this is a good game and one of the best that has come out since star wars. The glitchy nature of this game means it just isn't fun, at times it felt like I was playing a game made by behesda, I had to keep saving and work out strategies so it wouldn't crash or lose what I unlocked. Below is my experience. Harry Potter play through 1 I played to the fourth chapter the first time and realised the bug where the charactors you uncover don't show to buy. This is a game breaking bug, second time round I get so far and my peice on a level glitches and then it bugs that part of the story. it then moves on meaning if you are someone who wants to 100% I couldn't. I can't recommend it in this format I have bought because it's unplayable at times. However to be fair on a flip side my friend has 100% this game on PS4 with the re-mastered version so maybe there's the answer. I am done however.

Buggiest game I've seen

Seriously, you'll waste the little money it costs on sale. Can't play it because of random crashes every now and then. The devs aren't probably interested in fixing it, so I don't see why this is even listed in the shop. I only bought it thinking the reviews about crashing were exaggerated. Well, they weren't at all! You won't be able to even clear it, let alone 100% it. I hope I can get a refund for this.

Plenty of fun

Loads to do, encourages replaying levels after learning new spells. It can be a turn-off to have so much locked behind spells you don't know yet right from the beginning of the game, and it can be a bit of a "collectathon" with dated game design, but it's overall a charming, classic Lego game.

Pure Magic

If you are a Harry Potter fan then you will absolutely love this game. It brings out all the best that Harry Potter had to offer a video game world, and brought out the best combination of humor and creativity that only LEGO could bring together. The music is spot on, the nostalgia factor is there if you have read the books or watched the movies, and the story is artfully told. It's a little dated, so don't expect full 360 camera maneuverability, or a super large free roaming world like LEGO Lord of the Rings. But, it's a solid game none the less. It's especially awesome if you can find it on sale!
