Legend of Kay: Anniversary

I am 36 and bought this game for my kids, but actually I enjoy it myself. It gives more fun than most AAA games, and you can buy it for peanuts when it's on sale. The gameplay feels like the good old days when completing a game meant a challenge and satisfaction. The arcade combat, based on combos (different combinations of keys), can be really difficult at times, giving you a rewarding feeling when you manage to win a fight. There's good character development, allowing you to spend collected coins to improve your skills and buy useful items. The story is nice with a good sense of humor.

It's awfull. Clumsy controls, endless cutscenes, chit-chat, camera living it's own life, saving and restoring designed for ... unhumans(?). I just want action. Simple action; and may be bit of story. You don't find that here. The only action here is your fight with game.

Platforming doesn't work.Controls are glitchy,especially at boar and wolf rides. Dialogue starts upon meeting any enemy no matter how insignificant they are,and dialogue itself is very bad,all of it is voice acted,but it's nothing worth listening to,it's just "get this cat" and some awful banter from protagonist. The only somewhat enjoyable aspect of this game is combat,which lets you do a lot of combos,but there are better games which focus on that aspect.

This game is just boring. The dialogues are endless (and the french voices are really really REALLY LAME!) the missions are not interesting and the fights are just basics... I wanted to play a cool action game, not bring messages and search for pumpkins !

I'll try to be positive, but its very very hard.. This is a classic 3D platformer game, which we all know back in the late 90s You wander around in a couple of levels, finding objects, collecting coins and fight against enemies. along the way you get stronger, find some magic and completing your "quests", which are simple tasks like finding a banana hidden somewhere in the small village -yaay- I suppose that the game gets harder along the way, howver... I quit after a hour or so.. beacause this game is really really bad.. (Even if this game is a remaster...) the controls are messed-up, everything is glitchy, character animations are weird, and voice acting is terrible, and worst of all, the gameplay (if therre's any) is bad..
