Legend of Grimrock 2

I was enjoying this game for the first level but once I got past the first boss encounter, it crashed my graphics such that I had to restart, twice. Thankfully I got it on sale so I'm not out much money but just beware that it's not well programmed and you might run into something like that before buying.

The previous version supported Linux. Why are you abandoning Linux and only supported proprietary commercial operating systems? Who does that serve?

I have NO idea how this game can have received an average score of 4.6/5 at the moment. The controls are terrible: You can not use WASD to move and the mouse to look around and control where to go simultaneously as usual, but you have to look in the direction you want to move in, and THEN move. You can not move diagonally, but are limited to move in +/-90/180 degree angles. The graphics are terrible considering that this game is released in 2014. If I had not known the release date, I would have guessed that the game was released around year 2000! Situations I experienced in the game: #1: I am getting killed and have just used my weapon. Too bad, but I have to wait for approximately three seconds before I can use my weapon again! #2: I want to go somewhere, but noooooooooooo, there is a insuperable obstacle in that direction, namely ankle deep water! #3: I want to go in that direction, but not THAT far. Too late, I held W for to long and do not stop even if I have released W, so now I fall into the canal without finding a way to get out or even get to the surface, so now i drown! #4: I am getting killed and can not get away, because I am trapped between a monster and the dead end of a tunnel! #5: Just one enemy can be more than enough for the four team members, but suddenly there are three monsters to fight at the same time! #6: Time after time the gun jams and a weapon misses the target ending in me getting killed! #7: And so on.......... :-(
