This is cute...
While I'm usually in to other game types, thought I'd give this one a chance. Glad I did! Not done playing this yet, but I like it a lot.

Very charming, with some serious tones
I played two games (version 1.2) and have to say this game is very charming. Each took me about 3 hours. I haven't played a dating game before, and as far as I'm concerned, I still haven't. Yes, it involves flirting/dating options, but to me it is more of a slice of life of people past 70 kind of game. What I like is, that even though the game touches on serious topics (of that age group, but not exclusively that age group), it has a life-affirming attitude about it. It is more about "how do we deal with this in a constructive way/try to resolve the issue/s instead of going "the world/universe sucks". It doesn't go deep into things though, so if you expect that, you will be disappointed. The overall story is fix, but you can choose some details about how you get there. It's mostly about who you spend time with. So there is some replayability there. But don't expect too much. On the starting screen they play a nice song and in the game you get to hear two more songs, that are also nice. The background noise in the game, when there are no songs played, is sometimes so low in volume, that I don't hear anything. These periods are long enough to make me check the sound cable and therefore take me out of the game. There is no option in the game to up/down the volume of specific sound. Another thing that bothers me a litte is that sometimes conversations/conversation options don't make sense. Like: I didn't want to participate in a competition, but I still get the option to think something like "This will make my win more probable". I didn't want to participate, so why would I care now? Or: The robot companion can talk, but there is a scene, where the protagonist is somewhat shocked about it. Unless it can usually only say programmed sentences maybe? I don't know. Those things are not enough for me to substract a star though. Overall it is a very enjoyable game.
