great old classic, just disable music, it cause crashes

Very much in the realm of 'The Settlers'. but with [I think] better combat I lost many an hour to it's charm years ago. Graphics probably so so [I'm about to download it so speaking from memory], but as the saying goes - " if you liked the settlers then you'll like this."

good for an older game lots of strategy but not too much to understand can start playing and understand concept. good mix of simcity and command and conquer with castle feel

The game is brilliant, i remember playing it while i was in primary school and i gladly play it now. Innovative feeding your troops mechanics, very realistic too. A strategy game as it should be. This and Settlers 3 is how strategy games should look like. Its not like every casual gamer will be happy to play this game. You have to like strategy games to fully appreciate it. Only one thing bothers me. I was playing it with POLISH dub 20 years ago and now there is no polish language in it ?!

It took me a while to find it on the internet because I always liked the game so much. Day after day I searched for it on the internet and found finally what I wanted: Knights and Merchants. € 5,99 was a acceptable price for it and I’ve had much fun of with. Unfortunately I have got now a Mac so I hope they will sell soon the Mac version too! Although you can only play it now on Windows it does mean the game degrades in value. It’s still a great, I recommend it to everyone!
