Kingpin: Life of Crime

Downloaded it, installed it, tried to play it, it crashed. Tried to play it with recommended settings, crashed again. Uninstalled it, reinstalled it, tried to play it, crashed again. Deleted all content including downloader, redownloaded, installed, tried to play, crashed again. No updates have been filed for the game, so I have no idea what's wrong with it. Not stating that this will happen to you, just know it happened to me, so it may happen to you too.

Absolutely fantastic.... until a game-breaking glitch preventing any further progress. This glitch has been around for forever and never fixed. Just another broken game from good old GOG, who for two weeks haven't even responded to any of my seven refund requests. Sound familiar?

The game does not run full screen and you can not change the resolution

I played Kingpin... Eighteen years ago. Whoah. Time flies. Anyway, my point, and to be brief, is that it's a not-too-memorable Half-Life 1 reskin, in which you fight junkies instead of aliens. Best ignore.

I never finished the game. Very soon I became disappointed and frustrated with it. And even then, when it was supposed to be top of the line ... it was ugly. It is still ugly (even more so in the world of modern graphics). It is still frustrating too. I suppose for the sale price you could give it a shot, why not try it for the price of two cups of dish-wash American "coffee"? But be warned, it will be time and money (however little) wasted. Just my two cents.
