Amazing Game
Loved and addicted. They need to make the maps bigger and add a few more structures. Solid game.

Great Game, new update
I’ve played this game for a while now and most of the concerns with the game getting boring are now gone. The new update makes it so you can wage war with other kingdoms. Very fun.

Not that great
I had this game on my wishlist for quite awhile. Picked it up in the GoG summer sale, but my god this game is soooo bad! First off, fires are out of control. Two buildings on fire, three fire stations and wells all over town and still both buildings are destroyed. And that wouldn't be so bad maybe, but fires are CONSTANT! Like every three minutes it seem like something catches on fire. Further, the "job system" here is atrocious. You don't slot people into job slots, you make a list of jobs from most important to least important and the people spread out accordingly. The problem with this is that if you have 30 people and your job availability goes something like: 1. Farmers - 15 2. Builders - 7 3. Quarry - 10 4. Doctors - 2 5. Military Training - 13 This means the breakdown of your 30 people will look like this: 1. Farmers - 15 2. Builders - 7 3. Quarry - 8 4. Doctors - 0 5. Military Training - 0 So anything below your maximum number of people in the job list end up with no workers. So you're constantly having to move the items on the list up and down just so you'll have people in certain jobs. This is so frustrating. There's no reason that I can imagine why you always have to fill jobs to the max before putting people in another. Just let me spread workers out in a sensible manner. I know the devs are still updating (at least given updates on the Steam page) so I still hold out hope, but if you in any way get frustrated, you might do well to give this one a pass.

Makes you want to play better games
Reminds you of Settlers 2 and a pile of Dwarf Fortress clones like Banished and Towns. It's cute. I kinda love the graphics and I knew that I was buying the game because of them. But I just wanted to play some sort of Lego Strategy game. And this is it... while it lasts. >>> There's barely any content in the game. After you restart a few times and test out some strategies, you're already sick of building the same stuff over and over. Once you get to the expensive stuff, you realize that it doesn't really do anything except makes the people happier. And that's the biggest problem with the game in my opinion... >>> It's all about making people happy so that they'll do stuff for you. Thank god Settler 2 didn't have that mechanic. You feel like the citizens are just constantly whining. >>> Nobody's ever happy. They want some sort of amusement parks and escape rooms and cafes all a block from their front porch or they just leave you to die. To me, it's just not a fun mechanic. It feels like the game is punishing you for wanting to build a big city. And there's just not enough content. How do you actually keep people happy? Build one of each luxury item around a block of residents. No matter how stupid it looks like. >>> Took me few hours to see absolutely everything the game had to offer. There was a ton of potential, but it would need to ramp up the content like Terraria to keep me interested. What a shame.
