Description
Return to the battlegrounds of Bersia in Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes, the sequel to the Xbox cult hit Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, updated into HD for modern PCs. Command new units across seven new campaigns, each featuring a new playable character.

Medieval mayhem returns! Orcs and ogres, vampires, and knights - command them all in this epic conflict of steel and strategy!

Enhanced for modern PCs:

  • Game controllers support (a gamepad is recommended for optimal experience) plus an all-new mouse & keyboard mode.
  • Revisit classic battlefields in widescreen HD (including ultrawide support).
  • Rock on and ride out, accompanied by a high-powered metal soundtrack.

Bigger, badder, better than ever:

  • A massive new game in the Kingdom Under Fire saga.
  • Seven new playable characters, each with their own story-driven campaign.
  • Lead from the front as a half-vampire count, an ogre warlord, or graceful dark elf.
  • Command new forces, including powerful elemental creatures.
  • Call in airstrikes and artillery and watch the battlefield burn.
  • Conquer fifty complex new missions, plus an endless range of random battles.

Become a master of war and wield the battlefield as a weapon:

  • Defend the high ground and ride down into your opponent’s ranks.
  • Lay traps and ambushes in forests, or smoke your foes out with fire arrows.
  • Call in air units to pummel foes with cannon fire or their own plummeting hulls.
  • Pay heed to the elements. Wind and rain can change the course of a battle.
  • Cast powerful magic and call on artillery. Scatter your troops to avoid reprisal.

Master seven new heroes, both light and dark:

  • Lead the charge as spectacularly powerful new characters.
  • Lash your enemies as a half-vampire, or crush them as a massive ogre.
  • Crush your foes with powerful new combos
  • Build your army with monstrous new troops and powerful support units
  • Assign allied commanders to your forces, each with their own abilities & magic
  • Lead, fight, hunt. Master the tactical map and remember: One hero can only go so far.

Reforge your soldiers in the fires of war:

  • Explore the continent across two different eras of the explorable campaign map.
  • Build your perfect army. Lead regiments of humans, elves, orcs, and more.
  • Loot, level, and grow powerful. Evolve your troops into new forms and master their skills.
  • Re-write the rules of battle with powerful combat magic, supportive and destructive.
  • Command the elements with Fire Wraiths, Ice Maidens, Thunder Rhinos, and Earth Golems.

The battlefield calls to you once more, commander. Your troops stand ready.

Gameplaywise top, needs more polish

Pros: - There are 7 different Campaigns - Each Campaign is around 13 Missions long, but there are a few "kill everything" missions without story, which are skipable - Took finishing all Campaign levels takes about 30-40hours, depends on how you play - The Campaign has a nice difficulty, though the Evil Force is easy af - There is a skirmish mode - It's an Hack'n Slash, RTS with RPG elements which works flawlessly - Progression System and Gear Customisation is fun and you can think quite into it, to create an OP army - The Story and Characters are interessting - The universe the game is playing in is interessting - Units look awesome Neutral: - The Story is a pre-quel to Kingdome Under fire: The Crusaders, most of what's happening is happening before and during the timeline of The Crusaders. - From the graphical side, they only increased the resoluitin and the shadows can be sharper - The Voice Actors from the The Crusaders and Heros were used for different characters, which is weird, but whatever Cons: - It clearly needed more time to polish things up, but it is playable - It rarly crashes, but still - It mainly a SP game, so it isn't very balanced, but most 90% of battalions are viable - 30FPS limited - Controller isn't requiered, but Mous and keyboard feels quite meh

It has issues

Graphics could be better and there's a bug in the Urukubarr campaing in which Mammoths won't move and the the mission can't advance. Overall good game but please fix that I wanted to complete all the campaigns and that's the only one it didn't work for me,

KUF HEROES BLAST FROM THE PAST...

OMG Blast from the Past... Was looking at its prequel KUF Crusade at GOG few weeks ago but then I remembered the sequel HEROES which I played from my first Xbox console back in the days. Fast forward today I cant believe its here since yesterday, as if GOG read my mind... Have had great gaming experience with GOG, (bought Witcher 3 during its B-Day, works flawlessly) definitely snatching it especially if it's on discount... Next wish list would be Alien Versus Predator... (since I've been looking at the previous older AVP on GOG, I bet GOG read my mind and release the sequel AVP a vintage great game!) KUF HEROES is comparable to Dynasty Warrior but better in my opinion as you are able to control your troops not just the heroes & it is set in Fantasy Medieval Setting... Thanks GOG for releasing my childhood Oldskool game...

Dissapointed

As much as i loved KUF:TC this was a let down. 1; Yes there are 7 campaigns where you play as one of the many side heroes from Crusaders, getting to know them, and what happened before and after Enclablossa (but some don't add up). Some have 10 missions others more BUT half of them are just mindless fighting and the otherhalf is storytelling, whereas in Crusaders every mission contributed to the story so it feels halfassed honestly, its underwhelming. 2; Music is still banging 3; Units yes there is 4 more units you can "create" for everyone, but its honestly waste of resource since you need to distribute exp and gold wisely in this one. You should pretty much stick with the starting units you get and upgrade them, atleast thats the most optimal. They buffed enemy ranged units, they will make mincemeat quickly out of your army. Items don't change much so meh.. 4; Pathing is hilarious feels like there are invisible roads they need to follow, open field they do a 360 then go to location etc. Just give the orders and let them be. 5; Skills if you upgrade one the other ones cost goes up as well so distribute wisely (again unlike Crusaders) 6; But my biggest dissapointment is the VA, none of the original voice actors are in it which fitted the characters and personality absolute perfectly, here....oh god....
