Description
The Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition contains award-winning Kingdom Come: Deliverance and all released DLCs.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance You're Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Thrust into a raging civil war, you watch helplessly as invaders storm your village and slaughter your friends and family. Narrowly escaping the brutal attack, you grab your sword to fight back. Avenge the death of your parents and help repel the invading forces!
Treasures of the Past Treasure maps of the lords banished by King Sigismund of Hungary, leading to the hidden treasures of those patriots, bandits and schemers.
From the Ashes As a newly appointed bailiff, you must decide what buildings to erect and what people to bring in, and you must also settle disputes between the villagers. Each building is unique and comes with its own upgrades, material and labour requirements, so you will face some difficult decisions.
The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon The quest DLC revolves around his attempts to woo the fairest maid he has ever set eyes upon, and his success will not depend only on his own mastery of the art of love – it’s also up to his trusty wingman, you - Henry, to ensure that The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon come to a happy end!
Band of Bastards Kingdom Come: Deliverance's third DLC focuses on combat and minor skirmishes. Sir Radzig's old enemies are pillaging his estates, so he enlists the help of an old acquaintance, Kuno of Rychwald, the leader of an infamous mercenary band. Naturally, they need a guide, and who better for the job than Henry?
A Woman's Lot Armed with fortitude and dignity, she faces the coming days with a smile on her lips. And since God moves in mysterious ways, none of us can know the lot we shall have to bear. But it is often those of whom we least expect it who encounter an extraordinary destiny...
If it weren't for the un-intuitive combat system that is difficult to use even with high stats I'd definitely rate this a 5 out of 5. Its annoying enough that'd I'd only buy it when its on sale, but nonetheless a great game.
Graphics are decent, textures are alright, the story is great, and the models are nice.
This one I was a little worried about as it is a little slow to start, but once it gets going, this thing is great! Superb acting as well. Everything is professionally done. Great story, epic battles with many troops at once, the need to get ever better equipment, the need to level up your sword fighting skill, exploration galore.
Nice touches too, like if you see something unexpected on the road ahead, you are probably about to get jumped by bandits.
Be as good or as bad as you want to be in a time period authentic location.
The game is so good, it left me with a grudge at the end. Waiting for KC2 as I have someone to kill.
I would highly recommend you go to Nexus mods and get something like Apex ENB to bring a little cheap ray tracing to your game. Makes 1000x better lighting and like a modern engine. The change is very noticeable. Dull to vibrant:

KCD made me feel something I hadn't felt for some time: powerlessness, struggle, improvement, and, in the end, feeling like a hero. The graphics were top-notch and are still very good. The combat is off-putting at first but, with time, you become better as Henry, your avatar, becomes more powerful. The story is good and avoids the preachy tropes of the last decade. The voice acting ranges from serviceable to excellent. The characters are memorable. The quests are engaging. The game loops are fun.
The downsides are all due to budget and mostly comes down to re-use of character models. The DLCs are definitely worth playing as well.
There is not another game like KCD. It's worth your time and money.
I hope they make a second game. I really want the option to move to Skalitz and become an actual apprentice of blacksmithing. I want to honor the legacy of my blacksmithing family and make the best swords. Sadly here you get a grindstone and the chance to destroy some expensive swords, because Henry was a drunk teenager who just wanted to have fun at the tavern.
What it's all about: In this game there is very little blacksmithing. In this game, there is an achievement for picking up 20000 flowers, every flower has a 3 second animation.
Optimization: This game takes less than a minute to load on my janky old PC with the settings all on low. It is still the prettiest game that I have seen. This game takes more than 6 minutes to load on my PS4. I have not had any bugs. It has crashed once due to overheating.
Praise: I have more than 2 days of gameplay time on my PS4 and I stopped because I forgot what the story was and i accidentaly told the traitor monk that I was looking for a traitor monk. I love it. It is a great game.
How to play: Find some treasure. Make some potions. Steal. Enjoy the patched up lockpicking mechanic. Do yourself a favor and get the bow reticule mod. There is no point in trying to aim without it. It is doable, it just isn’t necessary and it will not enchance your experience.
