Kingdom Come: Deliverance

It's one of the worst autosaving features, and you get punished if you want to save often to prevent hours of gameplay getting lost. The game has been out for a year and the developers could'nt even add a button to sort out the inventory + they want you to remove your armor several times in this game but you have no quick meny to equip / change gear. It's simply just not fun to remove all the gear one by one all the time and then find all the stuff you had on you and equip it back on is just tedious and anoying. The game still suffer from alot of bugs, but i guess it's more important to push out paid dlc than fixing the main game first and give the paying customers some quality of life improvements. I understand the passion and work behind this game, unfortunaly are you forced to use mods in order to make this game playable.

But no manual save and save drinks are too expensive. It's not hard core, it's useless and just sucks. If the game crashes because it hasn't been finished and optimised with feets, if you have a power cut you're screwed.

You will waste a lot of your limited free time redoing tasks because of the horrible combat system and the stupid save system. Save your time and money and just get M&B. Calling a game 'realistic' doesn't make bad design choices any better.

---------- Predefined voiced protagonist with tons of auto dialogue ---------- We have no control over the pc in any way that matters, we only have control over the combat and what weapons and armors we want to put on this use#ess oaf of a protagonist. -------- Tons of cutscenes where we have absolutely no say in what "our" character says or does, this is just yet another slightly interactive movie. ------ Sh#te characters ------ Sh#te story ------ Mindbogglingly boring gameplay ------ Horrible writing + Decent graphics i guess :/

I cannot do a comprehensive review here because of text limitiation and there is a whole lot I can say about this game. I will instead just list a few points and I hope it can help warn others. 1. This is the ONLY game this Czech Company has ever done. I did not know that beforehand. One game in 9 years and a poor game at that. 2. I have not noticed one 3D model that I have not seen elsewhere in the freebie sections of 3D model and scans sites. Not one has been created by this developer to be unique for this game. 3. A game less than 3 years old such as this should have 4K textures and graphics right? There is none, not even on the highest setting. No difference between low settings and high. 4. Improper or no apparent useage of LODS. 5. No manual saves either on Hardcore OR manual. On Manual you have options to earn manual saves but they are usually inconvenient, expensive or come with penalties. This would not be a problem if the automatic saves didn't come 10-15 min apart which forces you to repeat a whole lot of boring. 6. Combat mechanics were poorly thought out. Cumbersome and awkward...as is the mechanics for lock picking, horse riding etc... As an RPG this is way sub par even for an Indie game (which it really should be labeled as such but it isn't). If they were lucky enough to scam money from kickstarter you can be assured hardly any of it actually went on this game.
