Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Very well done Middle Ages RPG! I don't think I have to explain what this game is all about. A ton of reviews are online and I am really enjoying every aspect of it, even though it is not perfect. <3

I have come to Kingdom Come Deliverance after completing Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 on PS5 with 80 something hours. The build up so far has been great and you can see the systems and features that they fleshed out in the sequel. I am going to be continuing with the game and I find the concept of 1400s Bohemia (Czechia) massively interesting. These are the sorts of deep RPGs that you rarely see these days and it has catapulted Warhorse to one of my favourite developers.

It's not like the repetitive gameplay of Baldur's Gate, Divinity, or Dragon Age. Here, you live your life, doing what you have to do, what you need to do, but you don't actually have to do it, and you don't need to do it. It's up to you, and I do these things because I want to, not because I have to in order to progress in the game. For me, it's a very successful game where I can empathize with the main character, and what he does in the game is like what I would do in reality. There are plenty of places where you can have fun and imagine life in that era very well. Players probably complain the most about the combat, but once you get into it, you'll find that it's not difficult at all, but very well designed. I give it two thumbs up and I'm already looking forward to playing the second part.
