Got me all wet - with tears
If you are here for the smut, move on. While the game has some explicit scenes, I found them all to be very tasteful and merely add flavor to the deeply emotional relationships which are really the main point of the story. There is some repetition, so at times the story feels like it is a bit of a drag, and you might find yourself skipping over some dialogue that you have already seen in very similar form. But oh boy, does it all pay off in the end. I am normally not easily fazed, but out of the 18h I had in this game, I spent about 2 of them teary-eyed, and at least 30 minutes of those straight up crying. The characters really grow on you, and I was genuinely sad when I had to part ways with all of them as the story ended. The story is basic, but very convincing, and despite not making it easy on itself by switching perspectives between different characters, it is coherent and has no plotholes. It has tons of valueable messages (take your time, seek consent, respect each other) that are amiss in other games of this genre and it made me deeply happy to see them addressed. In many places it got me to think about my own life as well. You get the full shipment of feels. Happiness, melancholy, love... The only downside is the price, which is pretty steep for a visual novel. Quite frankly I would not have bought the game at its full price, even touching as the stories are. For those who care about such things, both the soundtrack and the graphics are rather basic, though by no means bad. But it does make it difficult to justify such a high price for me. However, if you can get it on sale, by all means go for it.
