Build, Fly, Explode
Ever wondered how it is possible to get to Moon? Ever dreamed about building own space ship? KSP not only provides way to plan space missions, design rockets or explore fictional solar system of Kerbol but also throws in additionally bunch of green astronauts, foolish enough to execute Yours plans. Even if You don't have degree of engineering and You spacecraft is more like flaming barrel with attached seat they will still fly it with smiles on their faces. Add many mods available at forum and Scot Manley to get perfect recipe for game.

Space, Kerbals, Explosions, Repeat.
When I first started this game on career mode, I built a metal box with a Kerbal in it, strapped a bomb to the bottom and detonated. Feeling happy with my achievement, I proceeded to do the same. With a bigger rocket... This is one of those 'Easy To Learn Hard To Master' games. It took me one quick trip to a tutorial to work out how the orbital mechanics work, but I have yet to land on the 'Mun' without crashing. But I am confident I will do it soon. If you are impatient you might find this game repetitive or boring, but if you play it for long enough you should succeed. 11/10 This game is excellent and really helped by so many mods.

Unique, but not perfect
That game is not perfect, but is quite unique. I play in 1.1.3 and see some flaws well identified by other reviews : - not a real simulation (Kerbin is way smaller than RL Earth) , - "science" is only some clicks and relies essentially on exploring more zones, - when something explodes finding out why and how to avoid it, - Tech tree is very fun at first, but almost fully researched when getting into interplanetary flights hence lowering the fun of going forward - To progress in the game at some point, you'll need Excel worksheets or ingame mods (it's rocket science, remember ?) - Aerodynamics are too simple for planes (but work for rockets) BUT - You will get a taste of rocket science and space exploration (I'd never watch real ISS/Soyuz video but for having played that game) - You will have to use your brain solving design problems either empirically (a lot of retries), or getting documented and starting to do the math (ingame wiki, ingame tutorials, online guide and videos). - You'll explode a lot a things and make hilarious mistakes : - decoupling boosters at the launch anyone - celebrate your first kerbal in orbit, then figure out he just can't get back on the ground - You'll understand why those previous mistakes are fun ... And I don't know of any other game to do so.
