A Great Game
I really enjoyed the story and the puzzles. I only ran into one quark. The inventory menu covers up the X mark for digging up a box. It can make it hard to activate it since both the inventoy open covers the entire bottom screen and the mark is located near bottom covered by the inventory ribbon. Best to try and align the camera where the X is between the inventory item tiles.

Excellent point and click adventure
Story and puzzles great. Puzzles not too hard and story easy too understand. Hand drawn graphic is beautifull and atmosphere is eary and fun.

Excellent
There is enough new content to warrent an additional purchase. I bought both the original Kathy Rain and this the Director's Cut. I played them both through completely, collecting all the achivements in subsequent playthroughs. I thoroughly enjoyed the additional content and puzzles in this expanded edition and I look forward to new games from this developer in the future.

No XP support anymore
Great game. Probably not something most people care about; The original is playable on my old 32x windows XP laptop, whereas the Director's cut is not. Not sure if it is the OS or lack of 32-bit support.

A sunday afternoon mystery
A delightful shorter adventure, with straight forward puzzles. Perfect for newcomes of the genre or people looking for something a bit lighter. Good ambience, music and a story that largely succeeds in what it sets out to do. Well worth a playthrough!
