A great pixelated Metroidvania with a good level design. Totally free. Thank you GOG for this little gem.

Nice game. I enjoyed the walk through the maps. NOTE: A podarilo sa mi zachranit vsetkych junakov a veruze i som grofovi zaiskril pred tvarou mecom aby odisiel z kralovstva a tak nastal pokoj aspon nez vyjde druhe pokracovanie.

this is actually a pretty nice metroidvania and it even had me spun a little because i watched somebody play part of the game on youtube but since then the game's been expanded on and has a lot more content at the time of writing i've got 6 1/2 hours in and i'm not even done yet. i think i have like at least 1 or 2 zones left, so there's a fair bit of content here that's nice and polished so it's not like a demo or anything it's a full game. all i can think is they're giving it out as an advertisement for the second game which i'll definitly pick up now being the first one is so good. so if you are wondering if it's worth your time to download/install i say a definite YES

As a small free game Janosik is quite good. It's like a miniature metroidvania with comedy presentation, minimalistic pixelart graphics and nice music. Gameplay is also pleasent with a couple of moves Janosik can use from start or learn like rolls, double jump or bombs. Level design is rather simple, could be better and normal foes aren't much threat but boss fights aren't too great. And i saw some bugs. But overall good game.

A short but very good metroidvania. And it is free. Awesome!
