    JANITOR BLEEDS is a retro-inspired horror game set in an old arcade. A mysterious arcade machine called JANITOR beckons you to play itself, releasing a horrible force upon the player. The only way to survive is to keep playing, but the further you go, the more the events of the arcade game start to influence the real world. When your eyes are glued to the screen, who knows what might be happening right behind your back?

    • Explore a mysterious arcade: The dark corners and hallways hide many secrets. Collect coins and items to progress in the game and most importantly, keep yourself alive. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of an amusement arcade from the 90s, abandoned long ago.

    Game breaking bug

    Unfortunately I have a serious problem with the GOG version. As soon as you get the second of the three required blue keys and want to use them on the arcade machine, the flashlight will be duplicated in your inventory. This means that the game can no longer be played and cannot be ended. This has already been discussed in the Steam forum and the developer has reacted to it, but to date no solution to the problem has been found and no patch has been published either. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1552310/discussions/0/3276939823298769921/ I don't know if the Steam version is affected by this bug, but there are Let's Plays that show the full game. Curiously, there are also Let's Plays that are shown without the entity threat. In my game this was regularly present. I have reported this to GOG support and as it stands I can only advise against buying it.

    Game breaking bug

    I bought it, and it was a good game! Until there was no way to get further, a gamebreaking bug appears and this rather early in the game. Just sad!!! Thank you GoG for the refundsystem!

    Four-star retro with a new twist

    This is one of the first games I bought on GOG via its recommendation areas, which means not only did it realise the type of game I was liking to at the time but also tha the game was good. Retro style graphics and atmosphere with a newer survival horror stealth mechanic. Humorous gameplay added to an interesting 'stranded' plotline. Recommended definetly.

    Doesn't work on my gaming laptop

    On my Gigabyte G5 with RTX3060, this game starts but it's mostly black screen with some small dots of more lit graphic artifacts of some sort, they all, as poorly visible as they are, form some sort of scene, that much is discernable - but this seems to run at 1 frame / 10 seconds or something, and can't do anything, and then after seconds it proclaims you died. I did set up initially, the brightness according to the instructions, but as bright as some of the weird spots are (nothing like the rendernigs here on the GOG site for the game, where you can actually see properly rendered things), it can't be too low brightness, which also doesn't explain the abysmal FPS (more like SPF). Given how modestly this game is spec'd HW wise, this should not be expected. I have not had such weird issues with a dozen other games from GOG on that laptop.

    Pretty good!

    I've seen a lot of shade thrown at this game for being buggy and not working. Well, I don't know if it's because the developers have fixed it or if it is just my PC setup but I didn't have any troubles. I played the game and beat it. It was pretty intense! I enjoyed this game from start to finish and it was pretty scary! I enjoyed the arcade asthedic and would recommend it for anyone looking for a nostalgic horror game.
