Jade Empire: Special Edition

I don't know who's bum these 5 stars are being pulled from but this game is awful. Fighting is terrible, story is terrible, it's Bioware/EA at its worst. I remember before it came out it promised all these amazing things, fights in a tea house where you could use all the environment against your enemies.....total nonsense, never delivered on any of them. If you like Knights of the old Republic then you won't like this game. It's more like a rubbish version of Mass Effect, same kind of bland environment where you can't really interact with anything apart from the odd object scattered around. Thankfully I've pretty much erased this game from my memory so I can't give you the best examples of why it was rubbish other than to say its my most hated game of all time.

This shit does not deserve your attention. Even rating of one is too high for it.

This game is horrible. You'd think, with a setting like that, the makers of the (unjustifiably so) acclaimed Baldur's Gate 2 would have done something passable but NOOOOOOOOOOO, it is pretty much another Nevewinter in a different setting and without the D&D ruleset bloat, everything but the setting is mediocre from the non existent story to the writing. The game has a morality system, barely scratched; every environment is extremely closed and linear, the combat system is barebone, uninviting and unpleasing to watch, most of the quests are generic and the final twist is one of the stupidest crap possible. AVOID and get the Wizardry, Ultima and/or Might and Magic games instead.
