I really enjoy game mechanics like the rising alarm clock increasing gradually with each turn, resulting in an additional problem every five increments. I just finished the game on experienced mode, one level above the default difficulty settings. Here you have only three turn resets and there is no level restart or save scumming because there are no former save states to return to. If you get stuck in the level the campaign is over. This gives the game an enormous intensity while playing. Always on the edge of your seat. Consider this time consuming because you wish to finish a level without a break. But for short game bursts, I have other games to play like Slay the Spire which can be interrupted anytime. Besides the Experienced Difficulty, there are many other campaign settings to be tried in the future. Combined with (optionally randomised) start combinations of two agent with speacial gear and two programms there is always a fresh start. Let's see how to be combined this time with programms, rescued agents, skill development of every individual agent and equipment found/stolen/bought. You have enough influence on the game to find your way... and with an Endless Mode - you can see how long you truely last....

Overall, its a pretty good turn based stealth game blending a sci-fi/cyberpunk atmosthere with a spy theme. There's no brute forcing your way through this game- it forces you to think, and you will fail. The bad news is that youu don't have the option of restore points- the devs want you to do another playthrough. The good news is that you have a limited number of do-overs withing the mission, which allows you to recover from some mistakes if you catch them early enough. The overall game, and all missions, are severely time-limited. As a player that likes to explore the world (and characters) you've created I don't love this. I also felt that the game was too short; about the time I started to find my footing the game was over, and the ending itself left a bad taste in my mouth. That said, I do think the game was very well done and I would reccomend it to any fans of tactical or stealth games.

The game is short, but has a nice story and is kinda fun to play. A refreshing take, it stands out from other games on the market. However, the difficulty scaling is horrible. You are required to grind, grind, and grind to be able to complete the campaign. After the initial missions, you quickly hit the wall, and need to restart, replay missions that get repetitive and boring real fast. For a single player game this kind of design is really bad. All in all, this game is worth buying, but definitely not for the full price, look for at least 30% off.

A hidden gem. It provides a very good turn-based, roguelike, stealth infiltration expierence, with plenty of replayability. You control a group of agents (that you can level up, upgrade etc.) who are part of a secret organisation, that tries to escape the iron grip of the global conglomerates which have the world under their control. Gameplay reminds me abit of the old X-com games, where you move in tiles and turns. However, don't expect to barge in with guns blazing. It's all about stealth and thinking about every move you make, to prevent getting detected, sneaking and hacking your way in. Thanks to the procedurally generated missions and world, no mission or playthrough is the same. Some missions can turn out pretty harsh because of this, because the randomness sometimes gives challenging and unexpected situations. Regardless, the game mechanics work very well and there is hardly ever a situation that you cannot overcome. If the game proves too difficult, the settings allow you to finetune the difficulty to your liking. All in all a very well made turn-based stealth game.
