The remnants of human civilization are threatened by gigantic creatures breeding beneath the earth. You must control powerful mechs from the future to hold off this alien threat. Each attempt to save the world presents a new randomly generated challenge in this turn-based strategy game from the makers of FTL.
  • Defend the Cities: Civilian buildings power your mechs. Defend them from the Vek and watch your fire!
  • Perfect Your Strategy: All enemy attacks are telegraphed in minimalistic, turn-based combat. Analyze your opponent's attack and come up with the perfect counter every turn.

Giant Stompy Robot Kaiju Chess - THE VIDEOGAME! From the maker of the masterclass that is FTL: Faster Than Light (An only slighly more egregious abuse of acronyms than 'ATM Machine') comes an excursion into a tactical positioning game. Will I put as many hours 'into the breach' as I did with FTL? No, but that's ok! With perfect information on what (and when) the enemy will do on the coming turns, every combat encounter is a puzzle to be thought through and considered. Wonderful art direction and styling, though I should note I love chonky pixels. 5/5

Phenomenally Designed

There seems to always be a hidden solution even in the most dire of circumstances. Hence it's never unfair. The makers are definitely smart, determined cookies that honed this blade over a period of years, until it was peerless in its small corner of gaming.

Addictive. Simple yet puzzling. Beautiful sprites and the music is good. Game mechanics are wondrous and wonderful. It has a well balanced learning curve. You must practice a little. The game does not treat you like an idiot but trusts in your ability to learn. So, yes, it's kind of hard. Thou shalt playeth Into The Breach. Saludos.

surprisingly satisfying

cute turn-based battelfields are so intelligible you can observe em for a few seconds and then concieve a plan with your eyes closed. this gave me a strangely satisfying feel. wow. make me a dev and I won't know how to make this game any better. maybe fully customisable and scalable UI. Like 20% smaller from the fullsceen mode. But it's mostly me being a UI freak, games already looks neat. at first I thought that Into the Breach is too niche for me to have fun, but strangely it's imagery haunted me for days and made me to give a try )
