Description
The dreams of the future are now reality; fully trained professionals whose purpose is to create optically stored REM moments - dreams to obliterate the cares of waking thought.

Yet the DreamTrack Corporation have created an insidious implant within the latest DreamTrack that is being mastered for release within the labyrinth of the Corporation's mainframe complex.

As a rogue dreamer, you have to enter the mainframe and direct your partner to the track itself - the minds of every future generation will be trusting to your skill and intellect.

Taking the role of Chad, it's up to you to guide your partner, Kaf-E, safely through the complex security system to the top of the building. Once at the top she must collect the correct DreamTrack from the vaults before making her way back down through the building to the exit.

  • Navigate the maze like interior of DreamTrack Corporation's Mainframe.
  • Pilot your way through twisting Tunnels avoiding Data Lines.
  • Avoid Security Drones trying to capture you.
  • Locate and Destroy Obstacles blocking your path.

Poor shadow of the ST/Amiga version

Running via dosbox, the visuals are blurry, the controls are twitchy and the audio is gratingly awful. I had this game on the ST and loved it, but the PC version is awful. Better to find an emulator and run via that for your nostalgia fix. On the plus side, it does run ok in windows 10 thanks to dosbox.

This is Interphase but...

This version is supported by DOSBox 0.74 and I was using Windows 11 Home. The Original version with better audio was on the Amiga. This version has very rough audio this is hard on the head after a while. While I did find settings prior to running the game after many attempts of graphic and sound failures. These worked for me...Graphics=VGA, Sounds=AdLib and Interface=Mouse. I did expect this to run first time with out trying different settings each time. The most difficult thing is how to exit and restart the game when it completely locks up or fails to launch properly due to bad audio or no mouse control. CTRL-ESC will exit the program but I had to use device manager to end task GOG Galaxy (32bit). Otherwise, you can't relaunch the game. the game starts in a tunnel and mouse control is too sensitive after 15 attempts of game over before entering thee first room to recover by obtaining energy by flying in the red bars repeatedly. You will need to target a missile to the ship factory to stop them from replenishing and depleting your energy. Note: pressing the spacebar in the tunnel allows you to SAVE or LOAD your game. Save once you enter and again just before leaving if you navigated through the tunnel well. Only one save slot so use it wisely and carefully. hold right mouse button and push forward to increase speed or back to slow down/reverse. Navigate to icons on the blueprint to either dock, destroy or tractor beam. The Power System can be docked once but will be destroyed when exiting. Pressing P will pause the game. Lastly after the most important part of playing this game. It will freeze up and stop working. You will lose your progress and have to use Task Manager to restart the game. There is no rhyme or reason and this frustrated me the most not know how far will I make it this time or do I want to try again. today I gave my review and removed any games from my wish list that are older than the current good old games. I played through 5 levels and don't want to play any more at this time. Time to move on to a different game. Glad it was only 4 dollars Canadian. I have the Amiga version through emulation and PIMIGA is a really awesome tribute to the AMIGA by Chris Edwards.
