INSOMNIA: The Ark

Interesting RPG with great atmosphere for those that want a break from modern games. - great dark sci-fi setting with Fallout wibe - interesting story from russian developers is somewhat different from what I was used to. And thats a good thin. Took me about 50 hours to finish - combat was ok and not that difficult as it might sound from some reviews - I liked the visuals/sounds/music - the role-playing systems and equipment management are ok, but sometimes confusing (I am still unsure how the experince work in the game) - there are lot of bugs, mostly nothing game breaking, but save a lot and on different slots. Game obviously still need patch or two, but seems the developers are no longer supporting the game - also some quality of life improvements woudl help the game pacing, it tends to drag sometimes - pleasant surprise overall

Insomnia the Ark is one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had in recent years. The script, graphics and sound exude quality. Gampelay is also varied and fun for those with a minimum of patience. In fact, patience is something that will be necessary to overcome the multiple bugs and general instability. For those who persist, however, the game will be worth it. A truly surprising game.

I own the Steam version, which showed I played around 89 hours when I finished it. Very few games have left a very positive impression on me. This is one of them.

Was a backer when this game hit kickstarter, waited all this years to finally play it, and it it definitely one unique piece of art. A like the music and the atmosphere, but was a little disapoited about the many bugs. But bugs can be fixed, and it is a temporary issue. A like the lore and the sory of this game, definitely one of a kind game that you should not miss.

It wont launch under win10....I did everything short of editing game files. IMO its gogs fault. Its a known issue they still havent fixed.....
