Finished my first complete playthrough in 4 hours. A little shorter than expected, but I hope there more to come.

Just a master piece game

The first time I saw Inscryption was when I played a demo available on Steam and at that moment I had already added this game to my wish list to buy it soon. I have several hours of card games like Hearthstone for example, but this game here caught my attention with its sinister setting and roguelike gameplay. In Inscryption, we start as someone who is apparently trapped in a gameplay loop against a mysterious creature, and as we play and explore secrets in the cabin we find ourselves in, we understand a little more about the mystery surrounding the game's plot. The gameplay is easy to learn but requires a little time and patience to master. Since it is a card game with roguelike mechanics, be prepared to make mistakes, lose games and start over, but it is precisely this loop that makes Inscryption so addictive. Because with each run we learn more about the mechanics of the cards and improve our deck. By finishing the so-called "Act 1", you unlock more material that deepens the game's narrative, and for me this is where Inscryption starts to lose some of the high quality it offers us at the beginning, as the game's mechanics change and take away some of the immersion we had at the beginning of the game. However, I can say that this "low point" does not diminish the brilliance of Inscryption in any way; it is a brief break in the rhythm that rewards us even more at the end. NOTE: By completing all the acts, you will unlock a new game mode called "Kaycee's Mod", which increases the difficulty considerably and presents a good challenge for anyone who wants a little more Inscryption. In any case, I highly recommend this game, certainly one of the best I have played in a long time.

It was a long time I played something that original. And the vibe, reminds a bit Grimm's Brothers books. Super difficult to stop playing it. I really recommend to all fans of creepy horror games.
