Good and Bad... Simply OK!
Like some reviewers I had high hopes for this game. Text heavy game that's fine. Diablo combat? Fine. So...what's the problem? Lets start out with the heavy text. The heavy text itself I do not mind. Following quests it involves I do mind. I got some hints from the town people about a couple of quests. I also solved about 3 or four quests. Which is fine. However I am still stuck on most of them on ACT I. I cannot find out how to solve if the "captain of the guard" is guilty or not. I have spoken to multiple town folk. I have even visited the execution site. Still no avail. The game makes it hard as hell to get info from anyone. I have to get evidence and prove it to the head inquisitor to torture anyone. (Which I have not done yet) And another point. Gathering evidence is hard. No one is willing to speak up. Even under threat. You could pay them, but even then they might not talk. How the heck am I supposed to get info if they wont talk? Second the combat. While I do admire combat to a point. I actually think the stamina system is interesting. The real problem is the currency. While you level up you will sometimes have problems acquiring money. Especially from the monsters you defeat. There are no special characters. Well unless you include bosses. The average joe monsters you do defeat hardly have any dough on them. This makes it incredibly hard to buy potions to keep up the overall health and welfare of your character. Over all a decent game that should have been thought out more.
