Excellent

It's very like SpaceChem, except you have a large space to work in and you can use as many of anything as you like. This works really, really well - it lets you stomp out a quick and dirty solution, then work out something incredibly smart (or stupid). So.. without further reference to its 2D ancestor, what is it? It's a puzzle game where you place 3D blocks (movers, welders, drills) which manipulate a stream of inputs with the goal of building something, with that something changing level by level. Each level makes you do something slightly more advanced, and the later levels get quite challenging. The controls are very good, building is easy the puzzles get steadily harder and harder, and the possibilities are huge - there must be hundreds of ways to approach the different challenges. I have played 20 hours of Infinifactory on 'that-other-service', and I've still not completed all the puzzles. I've loved every minute of it - and when I wasn't actually playing, I had little factories whirring in my head - just like Tetris or Minesweeper used to do.

Good game with unpleasant flaws

Game is fascinating and variable. Infinifactory makes you use different mechanics. You can adjust the difficulty via the frequency of falling blocks. Blocks open gradually and this is a very good solution. It allows you to squeeze the maximum potential out of each block. This game allows you to play both slowly and quickly. Welding can be done while waiting for blocks or can be done on the fly. I also would like to note that Infinifactory has some levels with really creative and non-standard tasks. Unfortunately, the game has some unpleasant flaws. First of all, it is the bugs. Sometimes the block is not captured by the first conveyor, sometimes the rotator doesn’t rotate properly, sometimes the footprint calculation is buggy (some cells are not painted). There are more serious bugs. If you build at respawn in the classic editor, then start the puzzle and returning to the editor, the player flies out of the level. Also, the game trying to go online very aggressively. These are constant requests with duration about two minutes at each beginning of the level and each end. If you don’t want to give access to the Internet for this game, you will have to constantly wait 2 minutes to be able to play further. It is especially inconvenient when you want to see the previous solutions.

Satisfying

If you liked SpaceChem, you'll love this. It's basically 3D SpaceChem first person puzzler. The game eases you into progressively more difficult puzzles quite smoothly. You should expect to get frustrated. When you do (not if, when), walk away, calm down & give it another go. The intro looks like it could be done better to create a more interesting atmosphere. It feels rather cheap. But overall, a very satisfying puzzle game that holds my attention.

Top-Notch Puzzler

Infinifactory is a top-notch puzzle game that satisfies my programming problem-solving itch. I don't often find myself motivated to optimize solutions to puzzles once I initially solve them, but Infinifactory compares the strength of your solution with other players, providing tangible gain for refining your puzzle solutions. After playing this game I find myself imagining the levels, thinking through ways to optimize and sketching different approaches. The greatest achievement of this game is its capacity for creativity--each level allows for tons of unique solutions that the player can solve organically. The challenge is tough, yet rewarding. None of the puzzles that I have played through feel artificially challenging or cheap, which I find is usually caused by limiting a player's ability with arbitrary constraints. Rather, Infiinifactory presents each puzzle simply and effectively, leaving the player with all of the tools, abilities, and requisite skill required to complete it. I did, however, run into a few frustrating bugs. On a few levels I repeatedly fell through floors and objects like they didn't exist, and sometimes my character got stuck in walls that required a restart to fix. These problems do detract from the experience and can kill the mellow atmosphere of the game. However, they occur rarely enough that they aren't a major issue (and may be an issue associated with Windows 10). Infinifactory is a fantastic puzzle game that rewards you for the time you spend to solve, optimize, and refactor its many levels.

Good but I ran into some bugs

I just started playing this game, it seems good if you like Zachtronics' kind of puzzles. But in the first chapter "Proving Grounds", sometimes while I'm walking the characters just fall though the ground. Sometimes this happens, sometimes it doesn't, I don't really know what triggers this bug. The workaround is to I let the jetpack activated. But this gets annoying every time this happens.
