I always try to support indie devs...
Let me start off by saying that I always try to support small independent developers if I think they have a good idea. It’s the only way great games will continue to be made. People have to take risks. With that: Warning there be minor spoilers ahead… Story In this game you play as Nora in search of Watler. You go to a parallel universe where you have to fight robots and find out what happened to him. With help you figure out what happened. The story ends abruptly as if it is the first act of a three-part play. Gameplay The gameplay consists of three things: Solving puzzles, platforming, gunplay. Solving puzzles is trivial. At no point doing this game will you be confused on how to solve a puzzle. Platforming is boring and Nora has almost no jump height. Having you move a crate from one spot to another so that you can jump onto it is going to be the best platforming is going get. Gunplay in one word; unsatisfying. Guns are not satisfying to shoot, enemies hardly react to them and they do inconsistent damage. Sometimes a shotgun blast is a One-Shot kill and sometimes it'll take two or three shells to put down an enemy. The pistol is useless due to the limited ammo that you receive; the same is true for the SMG. The bolt action rifle is powerful but ammo is scarce, I believe I only saw maybe 10 to 12 rounds for the entire playthrough. Which leaves the shotgun which is probably going to be the go-to weapon that you use for the majority of the game. Technical Issues The game does not support Ultra widescreen resolutions as its vert- the image. Ray tracing is poorly implemented and adds very little to the overall graphical fidelity of the game. You are better off turning all of the advanced graphical features off for the added FPS. Personal Observations This game is short, I beat it in 3.5 hours. It is linear. Difficulty is poorly implemented. Will uninstall and never play again. Buy for $10 or less.
