Indiana Jones® and the Fate of Atlantis™

I used to refer to this game as "monkey island's serious cousin" but honestly it is so much more than that and it's not overly serious REALLY, this game lets you solve a puzzle by rudely eating a sandwich in front of someone who doesn't have a sandwich, after all

One of the classic point-n-click adventures, with interesting puzzles and lots of funny moments, and a great story too. This is the fully-voiced version that runs on SCUMMVM with enough puzzles and fun dialogue options to keep you occupied for some time

I had never played this game before. It being 30 years old didn't matter at all, great fun!

This game has it all: exploration, exotic locations, fights (if you choose) and jokes - and Sophia :) You can choose between three ways to play the game, with each having its own variations of the locations and puzzles: more action (with lots of fights but less puzzles), more puzzles or more interaction with Sophia (read: more fun and jokes). The story is outstanding. The graphics are a bit dated (read: pixelated), but still good - you see the love to detail as it benefits from every scene being hand drawn. It just fits all together. The soundtrack is typical Indiana Jones. The puzzles are never unfair and it's not pixel hunting. It even starts with possibly the most innovative intro ever! The plot has Dr Jones looking for the greatest prize conceivable within the realms of archaeology: the lost city of Atlantis. This quest will take you to various locations around the world that involve a great mix of dialogue, fist fighting, and puzzle solving. What's more, the game has three paths to choose from: team path for those who prefer a more balanced game, fists path for those who prefer action, and wits path for those who enjoy a more cerebral approach. Each of these paths are excellently designed, lots of fun, and lend the game amazing replay value. The graphics are great and the music is beautiful.

Well well, nice additions lately... This adventure is one of the best point-click ever made imo, fact is most of Lucas adventures are really great, but i loved a lot the two indiana jones, surely for the setting, but mostly cause in those adventures the puzzles are bit more logical compared to others... nor that the other Lucas are impossible, but still it was possible for me to complete this one without the need of any help/guide while in most of the others i needed help in some occasions, not sure if they are bit easier or just a bit more logic then other titles but i had more sarisfaction in completing the Indian Jones's. Anyway i think nearly all Lucas adventures are 5 stars at the end. If you are interested in point click adventures, and for some reason you dont know yet Lucas adventures, this is your Eldorado.
