Amazing still
It is amazing still, feels like a warm bath. Puzzles much more doable then the first two Monkey Island games.

Great adventure game
Fantastic adventure game. Great graphics, nice music and a fantastic story. Plus several paths leading to a happy ending. The quintessence of a DOS era point and click game.

A classic that still works fine
I played through this game several times back when it first came out. Had the very cool physical copy of the game with the plastic versions of the stones in it. Loved the game then with all it's different ways to tackle things. Never did get that perfect ending though. Coming back to this game in 2025 was almost as fun as back when I first played the game. Puzzles are still fun and the music and dialogue are still rock solid. Had a genuinly great time playing through. This time I also got that perfect ending. Gamers who love a solid point and click adventure have much to enjoy in this game. Fans of Indy even more.

Just as sweet at 1996
Game was incredible when i played at 10 years old in 1996, and still a badass game now. 3 playthrough options is unreal value!

One of the best
I didn't even know about this game before 2020, and upon finishing it I think it's incredible! So many clever details in puzzles, environments, dialogue and animations give it a timeless charm, nevermind the fact that it's a decent original Indiana Jones tale. The amount of stuff to do and see in this game is genuinely impressive for how tiny the exe is - There's even voice acting, randomized puzzle elements and alternate paths to the final zone. If I were a kid in '93, I think *this* would've been the single game I'd hound my parents for. Despite the hintbook being included in the download, I found the game is intuitive enough in its puzzle design that I didn't need hints until the final zone - The section where puzzle clarity is thrown out the window in favour of a "buy-our-hintbook-or-wander-forever" design philosophy. it would've been tedious enough to knock off a star for this review if not for how well-made the rest of the game is. Annoyances aside even the hintbook is a cool extension of the game's design philosphy, where there are two tiers of detail for hints so you can try to figure out puzzles before caving to look up the answer. Anyways, I've fawned about it enough; If you're even a little curious and you like point-and-clicks (or Indy), it's *very* hard to go wrong at this price.
