Best 4x Space RTS(played 90% of all 4x)

It's finally here 5 years later and yes it is as good as I remember it has aged remarkably well! (Btw this is my no.1 Game Ever cuz of what it achieved on 1999) If you loved 4x especially in space you will 100% enjoy this game(play first as Solarian on easy), this is one of the most ambitious & that actual deliver. First let me tell you there are some bugs on this release: - clicking on a fleet and sending to another fleet should auto-merge, if you can't, you have to save, exit to desktop and restart.(this prevents from completing certain quests like attacking traders) - sometimes quests objectives like attack X pirate planet do not appear on the minimap when they( also on the original) Since the game has so many positives I will start with negatives: - Having no upkeep for ships eventually turns this games in a bunch of doomstacks fleets which of course being a RTS the AI will easily amassed them if you are inexperience or play slow(on normal you will get pwned) - A deeper city simulator would be better & an advance buildings like a better hospital & police station are missing - The Kra'hen on normal difficulty will steam roller every civilization & diplomacy can be a PITA with A.I. if you are weaker than them The good stuff: - One map, one game, dynamic start and quests - Ton of different technologies with different game mechanics assign to them - One resource & Auto-Build reduces micromanaging allowing for deeper gameplay - 3 Distinct Campaign with specific events, quest, cut scenes and flavors. - Deep espionage with character progression that works well - Diplomacy that works (if not weak) - Ability to upgrade, design ships & tanks with different abilities & weapons. - City Sim helps you connect with your planets when fighting on them - Ground Battles with ability to drop bombs & call air support - Space battles where planets can use ground guns to shoot at ships - Good soundtrack that doesn't feel much repetitive & goes well with the game And Much more!!!

Weird bugs make gameplay impossible.

I'm really depressed that I can't play this wonderful special game. I really wanted to experience it, but in the earliest parts of the game it's already broken. Pros: A really good tutorial but it moves WAY too fast and sometimes is a bit unresponsive. The game is very charming and feels like whoever made it so many years ago actually cared about making a special game. tutorial bugged out a little when making a new destroyer design and I almost couldn't continue. Cons: It's extremely annoying that I can't use WASD or Up Down Left Right to move the screen. Only by moving the mouse to the edge of the screen. Cutscenes are really cool but the music is too loud and the voices are too quiet. If you try to change these settings in the tutorial (becausee there is no settings button in the main menu) the game will not remember these settings. If you try to increase your volume or touch ANYTHING during the intro cutscene it is instantly skipped and you have to quit and start a new campaign and watch it all over again. When you are building your colony, the game tells you that you need certain buildings for population and energy needs. So you build those. Then because of that, your colony freaks out and says that now it needs more hospitals and police stations because of crime and other needs. So you build those. Then your colony freaks out some more and says it needs more energy and population. So you build more houses and fusion plants. So then the colony freaks out again, and says you need more food production. This repeats forever and ever and ever, and the game never let me build any new space ships. I just kept getting attacked while desperately waiting for my colony to FINALLY allow me to build or research anything, but it never happened. I ran out of ships to defend my colony which never allowed me to have anything because it had low or no capacity no matter what buildings I made. This HAS to be a severe game breaking bug. I can't imagine what else it could be.
