Imperial Glory

"Imperial Glory" is a bit like what "Empire: Total War" would be if it ran on the old "Shogun/Medieval" engine. While in no way innovative nor groundbreaking, it's still a solid strategy game that will keep you occupied for a while.

Sadly, as others have said, it frequently crashes after a battle and you lose the progress. Great game, but just doesn't run well at all.

I've been a staunch Total War fan from a long time ago and this game is by no means funless in comparison. Quite the contrary, it is a lot of fun. And for the price, completely worth it. Certainly recommended.

I like this much more than total War. I think it as a better balance between the politics and actual battle. I did have many tech problems and zero support from the maker. But once the tech problems were solved, I've spent many an enjoyable hour playing. It can get slow toward the end when you a just mopping up the leftover nations

The game is a chore to play. Sea battles have 0 tactics, just roll around and pepper the enemy with cannonballs untill they sink. Land battles are mostly decided by the number of troops, since they have no morale system and enemy just suicide-charges your formation everytime. Advancment and economy are so slow, the game basically turns into "Next turn" button simulator. Diplomacy is just giving the AI enough gold so they would stop annoing you. Absolutely boring and uninspired, cheap TW clone. Just play Empire/Napoleon over this.
