Icewind Dale 2 Complete

A fine successor to the original. Some parts I had despaired of being able to get past without cheating but I eventually won through sweat and tears alone. Some advice I have is to pay close attention to your characters path finding because the game will have them all over the place if you let it. That is the only reason I am taking off a star. If you choose the good option for the final battle against madae and isair, make certain to help keep those monks alive when they come to help. I buffed up Ormis and his flying monk fists kept madae busy while I pounded on isair.

A great sequal to the IceWind Dale and Baldur's Gate series.

If you are running windows 10, be aware that this game doesn't work well if at all. Why launching it sits in status for ages and only finally opens after much prompting. It is impossible to tab out to a different screen. The game usually crashes within 10 minutes or less. This is all with the service pack activated (XP service pack 3). Prior to the service pack I couldn't get the game to launch at all.

A little bit different from previous D&D games but still really great.
