A Worthwhile Remake of the Second Game

All I have to say is, if you liked the remake of the first Neptunia installment, then you'll like the remake of the second one as well. Nothing wrong with that. =D

Fun Game... but

I enjoyed the First in the series, and have enjoyed them However the this game has a reoccuring 'anti-piracy/pro-DRM' propaganda (as if drm only effected pirates) in it, which is a real put-off. And like DRM itself the propaganda 'arguments' have stupid consequences if you take them to be true (For example, one of the arguments has the direct result, that if true, means it's impossible to "truely" enjoy a game you are given as a gift). A Large reason I play games is because of the plot, and to see main characters making such brain dead arguments (as in its a "uh uh"/"yeah huh" sort of argument, not at "here's logicaly reasons for my position", or if there are reasons they are pretty obviously false/stupid).

Exellent

It is the perfect game if you are interested in the sisters generation and not the main goddesses. So if you like uni nep nep (ram and rom (probably didn't spell them right)

Not as good as the first, but still good

There were some things that I definitely didn't like about this game, but after the first, I was glad to play as the CPU candidates. I would say though that there were some things that were really cringy with one of the enemies, but it wasn't a whole lot of the game. The gameplay is the same and this game definitely drives forward the Neptunia story line from the first.

RB1 with darker setting in new AU - 6/10

Neptunia and waifu fans - get it. JRPG fans - on sale if you liked RB1 or haven't played RB1 yet. Everyone else - if you haven't played RB1, not a bad place to start for the series. Otherwise, avoid. [Story] The 4 goddesses and Neptune's sister, Nepgear, are all captured by the personification of piracy. Nepgear was able to escape and goes on an journey with Compa and IF to to free the 4 goddesses and take down the villain. Like RB1, stories and conversations are in VN format. Characters are the best part of the game. Overall, this entry is the darkest in the series. Also notable for having 9 different endings. The conquest ending is infamous amongst fans, so worth seeing that once. This game is not a direct sequel to RB1. Starting from this game onwards, RB2, RB3, and VII/VIIR take place in the Hyper Dimension universe (i.e., RB1 is self-contained in its own universe, Super Dimension). [Characters] The new cast of sisters aren't as likeable as the 4 main goddesses. Nepgear has to navigate ongoing tensions with the other sisters. Due to this, there's a lot of drama between all the sister characters. The Makers had to do a lot of heavy lifting for the interactions until later chapters. I wasn't a fan of the new villains. Pirachu and CFW Trick were especially unbearable. [Gameplay] Same as RB1. New dungeons, but lots of backtracking and palette swapped monsters. Hold [Q] or [LB] to skip character battle animations and cutscenes. [PC Requirements] Same as RB1. As long as you have a GPU with 2GB VRAM, you should run this pretty well. [Bugs] N/A [DLCs] I played my first playthrough with DLC Pack 1. It comes with a lot of content. I'd only use DLCs in NG+ because equipment is overpowered. You'll need DLC Pack 2 for completion and to beat all the arena superbosses. [Mods] Again, +1 Neptastic mod for enhanced visual upgrades. [Completion] Game was meant to be NG+'d. Level, gear, and items carry over. 2-3 runs are enough to see everything: conquest ending, true ending, and holy sword ending (if you want). You'll need a guide to get each ending because the requirements are obscure. I'd say this is a 6/10 for 1-3 endings where the bulk of content is. I got all 9 endings. I tuned out after the 3rd run. If you complete it, it's a 4/10 experience. Same dungeons, boss fights, same cutscenes, and re-talking to Chirper NPCs was tedious just to unlock some fluff yuri-bait dialogue and CGs.
