Description
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Digital Special Edition will include the following:
- The game
- Remix EP with 6 unique tracks

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is the brutal conclusion to the Hotline Miami saga, set against a backdrop of escalating violence and retribution over spilled blood in the original game. Follow the paths of several distinct factions – each with their own questionable methods and uncertain motivations – as unforeseen consequences intersect and reality once again slips back into a brilliant haze of neon and bloodshed.

Blistering combat against punishing opposition will require intense focus as new variables, weapons, and methods of execution are introduced throughout the struggle. Let the striking colors of an unmistakable visual style wash over as you meticulously cut down those that would stand between you and the ultimate meaning behind the massacre. This is the finale, this is the unquestionable end.

  • Relentless Hostilities: Adjust combat techniques as the narrative shifts between factions and brings unique variations to a familiar approach along with new weapons, movements, and melee attacks.

Great game

I liked the game. It is similar to the first part but with more characters and stages. Each character has its unique way of do things, so that adds to the variety too. Good game...

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Game get straight into my heart, it has more complex, and hard gameplay than first part. Bigger levels, better game-design, harder levels and faster tempo of gameplay If you played first part and you liked it, you need to buy it 100%

HL2 is the stuff of legends

HLM1 is a fun arcade game whereas HLM2 bring a much more focused and nuanced gameplay design into the fold. Also...it also puts all the pieces together from HLM1 and completes the story. It is the stuff of legends in my book and completely took me over when i played it. No game has ever made an impression on me quite like this one has. For some context other games which i enjoy include: Half-life, Blood, Suikoden, Phantasmagoria, Double switch, star tropics, Who shot johnny rock, Postal, Mortal Kombat, Baldur's Gate, Police Quest, Leisure Larry, etc

Doesn't live up to it's predecessor

This game has some cool things, sure (We'll go over them in a minute), but the main thing with it, as other people have already pointed out, is that the developer didn't seem to know what made the first part a great game. Other than the story or the great score, HM1 had superb level desing for it's gameplay: Tight corridors, loads of doors and turns, etc. There were some glass doors and huge open areas but these were a minority and, in my opinion, were the weakest part of the game. This desing allowed for pausing if this was your first time, planning ahead or trying to sprint through everything once you knew the level and tried to reach the highest combo possible. Well HM2 is just huge-ass opean areas and glass doors. The problem with this is that most of the time you can't see what's ahead of you (Even by pressing SHIFT all of the time, which also sucks) so that means three things mainly: You'll spend most of your time getting sniped by enemies that aren't on-screen, hand to hand weapons are now almost useless and as much as you plan in the end you are taking a crapshot because you simply can't see the enemies (some of which, as in HM1, have certain degree of randomness to their path). Long story short: They fucked up the level desing big time by keeping only the worst part of HM1 and that takes away SO SO MUCH from the game. It get's to the point that even in some levels in which the game will force you to be a certain character with certain abilities the level feels inadequate and frustrating for that character in particular. It's just not fun. Of course there are nice new things: The story is told in a new and engaging way, the new masks have really neat powers (Most of which you can't really enjoy because of the level desing again), there is more variety to the characters and dialogues and the music score is still kick-ass. But these things simply can't compensate the level desing. I'm really sorry to say this but I don't believe the game is worth the money.

Love the changes.

For me, the changes in this sequel are right up my alley. The masks have a big impact now, they make characters very different. This gives levels more replay value. I enjoy the way the game throws some "gimmick" levels at you to keep it fresh.
