Horizon Zero Dawn™ Complete Edition

...one can not opt out of. AFTER the lenghty install, without the means to cancel or quit, the game asks you if you want the full or limited data collection (can not decline). I read the limited one and got the hairs on the back of my neck standing from what was said there. Just insane what they (Sony) imagine they can get away with. One can NOT skip or cancel the long intro (...) that will play EVERY time you start the game until you get far enough for the game (finish the prologue) to make the first auto-save (Witcher 3 greets in the background). Wow... The graphics are great, sound too, atmosphere is unusual but I uninstalled the game after about one hour played. I just couldn't get over that initial insult. I still can not believe what I saw. Can't ask for a refund since I waited long before I started playing, but at least they are 30 euros I paid for an experience I won't so easily forget.

First of all, I am outright refusing to play this game/keep it installed on my device because this is a game published by Sony and their newest policy is to be able to collect your data, your choice: limited or full. There is no ability to decline. This is my biggest reason to uninstall and get a refund. The second, more technical reason, is that before even accessing the main menu, you're forced to watch this unskippable cinematic, during which I was lagging quite a bit. So even if I ran it on the lowest graphics, I doubt I would even get a good experience.

I didn't get it on GOG, yet I fully intend to just for DRM-Free because this game is amazing. 9/10 or 10/10 honestly. 1. The narrative takes about an hour to fully start but is amazing when it does and don't worry about that first hour because..... 2. The gameplay is great - bow mechanics feel nice, concentration and the jump slow mo thing works amazing 3. The open world is vast and has loads of cool things to do like side quests, shops, cauldrons, bandit camps other cool locations 4. The level up system works great and means you have to make meaningful decisions on how you upgrade your Aloy TL;DR: Its great and I HIGHLY recommend

Horizon Zero Dawn is already an exceptional game in its own right, but on PC it is easily the better experience. Whether gamers weren't interested the first time around or they don't have a PS4 but do have a PC, this is still a must-play. Even those that enjoyed Horizon Zero Dawn will find that the PC version brings some new layers to the table thanks to the higher frame rate and improved visuals. The game still adheres to the open-world mold a little more than some might hope, but the environments, story, and gameplay help elevate it enough to be memorable.
