A superb sequel and a worthy successor.

Hollow Knight is one of the best games I've ever played. Team Cherry's mastery of the metroidvania genre is self-evident. So it's no surprise that the follow-up, Hollow Knight: Silksong, improves on almost everything that made their 2017 opera prima so good. It's hard, it's expansive, and it's filled to the brim with so much to do. And it's all supported by gameplay so good, you'll be grining like an idiot even as the game is handing your ass on a silver plater. Highly recommended. And for only $20? It feels like you're stealing the game.

Excellent Sequel to an Amazing Game!

Silky-smooth combat and platforming. New gameplay aspects such as Tools used as secondary weapons and Crests add a new dynamic to this series. The music and level design is great, if not a score below the original Hollow Knight, and the map is HUGE with lots of secret to find and areas to explore. For me it's a 9/10 (SotN and HK is a 10).
