He who controls the swill controls the universe. It really is that simple.

An untapped supply of swill has just been discovered on the uninhabited archipelago of Saustralasia deep in the South Pigsific Ocean, and every Hog Nation wants the land as its own. Gone are the days of scratching around for drips of swill. Saustralasia’s 25 regions are drenched in the stuff, and the only way to ensure that no one else gets their filthy trotters on the delicious swill is WAR!

Your task will not be an easy one. To successfully conquer and exploit Saustralasia you will need to seek and destroy the enemy across each and every one of the archipelago’s six islands, from Hogshead all the way down to Arstria. Our resources are limited, you have to maintain a rather small army, but with every victory on the field of battle, your swine will learn more skills and acquire the use of a wider range of weaponry.

There will be slaughter and butchery. Your job will be to bring victory to your chosen nation, to save your own bacon and make a meal of your enemies. With victory comes great reward. So great in fact that your brave boars will be as happy as pigs in… well, you get the idea.
  • Explosive 25 level single player campaign and an addictive online multiplayer mode for up to four players.
  • Arm your hogs to the teeth with a choice of 40 different weapons including sniper rifles, bazookas, mines, jetpacks, cluster grenades, and tanks.
  • Fight for one of six different pig armies, each one based on a real nation from the First World War-era: Great Britain, Russia, Germany, Japan, France, or the USA.
  • Customize your squad as you promote your hogs from Grunt to Officer in one of four different classes - Heavy Weapons, Medic, Espionage, or Engineer.
  • Cheeky sense of humour brought to life by the vocal talents of renowned British comedian Rik Mayall.

Shnell! Hurry! Don't miss this!

So many memories of me and my brother waging war with these pigs... This is tactical warfare of a different kind. You control one pig per turn, and you have about a time limit for your turn in which to move that pig in real time and get him to do what you want him to do. Launch a bazooka at another pig! Shoot another pig! Plant a mine! Heal an ally! Pick up some items and hope they are useful! Launch yourself and parachute down in another area! Just don't fall down off a cliff and die... Or step on a mine and die... Or finish your turn in an open area where you can't take cover so that an enemy attacks you and you die... Remember, you are being timed, so "Shnell! Hurry!" This game is amazing, and I'm so glad to be able to play it again with my kids now. You can take turns on the same computer because of its turn-based game-play! New memories being made now. Also, no blood or guts or anything over the top. Just good fun, explosions, and pigs getting slaughtered. (Don't worry, no real pigs were harmed in the making of this game!)

Having the same problem as everyone on Windows 8. Low frame rate, music playing randomly, the ground not rendering. Get a PS1 and track down a copy.

Its ok for what it is...

Saw only on Youtube "walking pigs" from ps2 and was playing only PC version since my childhood. Tbh AI have good aim and conquer mod is pretty tough. It might be even tougher then PS2 version... Its ok but shame devs lost original source code...

Shocking and unplayable!

An unplayable shower of s**t, installed this on my laptop but it struggled to run with about 2 frames per minute on the menu screens. Laggy music, completely unable to start a game. Thought maybe my laptop couldn't handle it (despite it only being a couple of years old). I decided to install it on my desktop gaming PC next and had exactly the same problem, this is a bleeding edge system that can run modern games without breaking a sweat. Still had the same problem I had on the laptop! Complete joke and feel utterly ripped off....

As good as BACON!

I was so excited to see this.... but after reading the reviews, I will simply hook up my PS1. To turn based strategy players, who have never experienced this little known gem, it is by far the best offering on a console ever! It is by far the most expensive PS1 game to buy as well (lol) Seems there is a PS3 digital version but I have only experienced and own the PS1 version. You owe it to your self to experience this game.
