Crashes again and again
Crashes constantly which is a shame because it's a really fun game.

This game is worth your money
I haven't written a review for a game in over a decade. That should probably tell you all you need to know. This game made me feel all sort of emotions I haven't felt in years, maybe decades. We live in the age where as soon as you are stuck, you simply google your issue and then go about your way. But as I was making my way through this on release day I found that there were no guides online and I was past most of the Let's Play's, so I had to buckle down and figure it out myself. I guess that's not really a point in favor of the game, as you could easily do that for any game out there. But I felt that this game rewarded solving things on your own, getting stuck and becoming frustrated, only to find the answer you needed after giving up on it. There's not a lot of games like that any more and that's why I'm writing this. Because I want more games like this. And more specifically, Hob 2. My only criticism is tha game's length. I beat it in 13 hours and I'm sure it can be done much faster than that. Having said that, I feel I got my money's worth. And I'll probably run through it again in the future. Good job devs.

Fun, enjoyable, but buggy
I've spent several hours playing this game. The graphics and environment are beautiful. The gameplay is an action puzzle adventure of the sort. I died a few times, but thankfully no permadeath. Sadly, after a few hours I had to close the game. There is a graphical bug that was causing my entire screen to flash at an increasing rate. At first it wasn't happening all that much. A few bushes flashing here and there every 10 or so minutes. It eventually built up to everything on screen flashing once a minute. Hopefully the developers can solve the problem. Despite that, it's a very enjoyable game.

Wonderful Change in Gaming
This game is a wonderful creation. Hats off to Runic. I so wish that more programmers would get away from zombies and blowing things up to artful creative thinking games like Hob. Wasn't sure what I would feel about this game prior to purchasing it but I love it! The only tiny minor complaint I have is a few times it would have been nice to have the opportunity to look around the environment using the second joy stick. Some may be put off by finding what is needed to advance in the game, which can be very frustrating at times, but once discovered it can also be very rewarding. The way Hob's world unfolds is ingenious and left me wondering how long it took Runic to map this game out so that it would work as seamlessly as it does? Please keep games like this one coming Runic...kudos to your team:)

So pure!
Played it on steam and I have to say, this was one of the best budget games I have played in a long time. No words spoke, only figure out the story through actions in the world. Combat is simple, but never gets dull. Exploration is key and puzzle solving is key. I can't reccomend this game enough!
