Hive Jump 2: Survivors is a sci-fi, action-packed, bullet heaven roguelike. After a squad of intrepid jetpack Jumpers are decimated in an intergalactic ambush, a lone survivor sets out for vengeance while fending off endless waves of killer insects. Play as different Jumpers for unique builds and abilities. Collect amber and alien goo as precious resources to earn upgrades and mow down the hordes however you see fit. Your secret weapon? Jetpacks! Strap in, dodge incoming hordes, maneuver around obstacles, and fry the enemies below - one gory run at a time!
Fight through four unique biomes: Crystal Caverns, Frozen Tundra, and the recently added Volcanic Wasteland, and the upcoming Mushroom Forest on September 10th.
With 19 Jumpers to choose from each with their own stats, weapons, and abilities play the way you want and customize each run.

A bit underwhelming at first but it gets you in end. Very addictive and rewarding powertrip.

Very Fun for the time spent
Fun! Good progression. Straight to the point. Great player character options. A survivors genre game with a lot more control over how you progress and deal with the enemies on the field. Could be better with more and bigger maps. But as an arcade game you can pick up and put down, it does its job.

A fun time but could use a touch more
The game is loads of fun and has plenty of unique mechanics, but can veer into frustrating early on due to odd metaprogression, though it fades over time. A multiplayer mode would have been nice too.

A special sort of survivors game.
I've played a dozen or so survivors games and this one manages to have a particular sort of grip on me. Unfortunately, it is difficult to put into words why I likely won't be able to quit thinking about it until I've unlocked everything, but the gameplay is just a bit more involved that most of the other survivors games. I've yet to get to the point where I'm so OP by my leveled up weaponry that I can fall asleep and still complete the mission (as is the case with just about every other survivors game.)
